Bailey Hannah at her very best,

This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and surpassed my expectations. Bailey Hannah balances humor, loss, love, and heartfelt growth between Denny and Blair so well. Her attention to detail building the world and memories of Denny and Blair is so immersive and well balanced with the usual warm found family vibes I loved from the other books in the series.

I rooted for them and their families every step of the way and loved reading about them finding each other again.

A series with small town charm and emotional intelligence Wells Ranch keeps getting better and better.
I have endless good things to stay about a Change of Hart. It's a truly wonderful book I can't wait to reread already.

Oh Bailey, how I love your cowboy romance books. This book literally made me fall right back in love with them.

This book is literally the perfect example of how you do second chance romance, with no miscommunication trope. It made me so happy reading this book because it was sweet and spicy, and the plot was utter perfection. I fall in love with every cowboy that Bailey Hannah writes, and Denver is no different. Blair and Denver? Oh my god, they were perfection together. I literally ATE them up.

Thank you NetGalley for an eARC!

Change of Hart is a great addition to the Wells Ranch series. The story of Denny and Blair was written in such an emotional and caring way, it felt like you were experiencing it with them. I really enjoy Bailey Hannah’s writing style and her Canadian experience.

The long awaited book 3 is finally here. There were some fun Easter eggs of other Bailey Hannah books like the mysterious horse that came from Fox Ridge. I wish there was a reference to Sundial/Beau somewhere in there. He had his own novella, but his absence was never addressed in the main series.
After the early scene where Denny recounts his pre-ride ritual that he had with his mom, I was kind of hoping that the book would end with Blair telling him to “give em hell”…but it wasn’t to be.

As a second chance romance goes, this was super sweet. He was 100% from the moment he saw Blair back in town. Kind of reminded me of the show “Shoresy” with “how good he’d be to her”. For a long time it felt like Blair was mad at Denny for something, but the flashbacks only showed them happy and in love. When it was finally revealed what broke them up, it was a no win situation. They were young and they both were only thinking of what was best for themselves instead of their partner. No one broke it, or was really at fault, it was just terrible timing.

There were a couple of scenes that dealt with Alzheimer’s that were a little too real and hurt a bit. The symmetry of Denny and Blair coming together because of his mom, and then finding each other again because she came home to take care of her mother, was a bit poetic.

This story wasn’t as hot or romantic as “Seeing Red”. It was more a story of healing and forgiveness and loss. I’m so glad that they were both finally ready to see what had been there all along.

This book was such a beautifully perfect emotional ride. I have been so excited to read about Blair & Denver and this book did not disappoint. Second-chance romance holds a special place in my heart, and Bailey did an amazing job of writing their story. Being able to step back in time and see how these characters grew up together, fell apart, and then found their way back to each other had me feeling all of the feelings!! I would absolutely recommend this book. 5 stars!

A million stars.

Blair and Denver are heartbreaking and wholesome and messy perfection. What an absolutely amazing second chance romance 😭

This book had me sobbing and feeling so hard for both Denny and Blair. Bailey Hannah tackles such difficult topics like ill parents, grief, and mental health with such tact and grace.

I adored the consecutive writing of the timelines where we got to slowly understand what drove them apart as kids and what brought them back together as adults. Ugh I have no words.

Oh and Denny with a praise kink?? GOOD BOY??? I can’t y’all I can’t. Incredible.
