This third book in The Ladies Alpine Society series was very exciting, suspenseful, and well written. An english ladies' society attempts to climb Matterhorn mountain, which is in Switzerland. The climb was intense and engaging with a lot of emotional drama and suspense, which included a frightening experience. I enjoyed how a complicated romance began and became a beautiful love with a delightful ending. I highly recommend reading!

I was excited for Justine’s book after enjoying the first two installments. But I regrettably…. was bored, which I never expected from Justine. Hoping I can rebound and enjoy the (assumed) finale of the series.

💗Review: Into the Breach With You

🧁Rate: 5 Stars!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🍨Praise: Utterly adorable!! I loved everything about this romantic tale! A thrilling tale! Full of entertainment! Justine and Karl are a hot and cold story that come together to create a perfect sizzling adventure! I always had a thing for romance stories taking place in the cold or winter theme! Makes a couple want to get closer LOL! I really appreciate how the story starts off with the character feeling misunderstood and then seeing how she could be who she really is with the man she loves!

🍭Characters: Very interesting characters with multiple personalities to definitely be engaged in through the book! Everybody was like a lollipop! All different colors swirling together never knowing which flavor of their emotions would pop out!

📖Extra/Trope: I have to say this book was just a refresher I needed! A warm and romantic tale filled with women making choices and men falling in love with them!

This is a spirited romp. I enjoyed the feminist message, not just about women's ambition but also about their sexuality. If you want a well-written sex scene that focuses on women's pleasure, you will find it here. The male lead is a bit one-dimensional, more so than in other novels in this series. I have read all the ones that have been published so far and also notice that they follow a pretty set formula.

This is an amazing series about a group of women who want to climb the Matterhorn and the impacts on their lives. Justine is part of this group as well as being the smallest member of the team. Karl, the leader, doesn't have a lot of confidence in her abilities. Besides the romance story which is exciting, this author brings us into a world of history when scaling mountains was a huge sport and women had to climb still wear dresses instead of pants. It's this type of history woven into a romance story that keeps me hooked to this genre. Beautifully written, it is recommended that you read all the series from the beginning to get the full impact of this author's creativity.

This interesting and suspenseful novel is full of surprises as the Ladies' Alpine Society prepares for their ascent of the Matterhorn, a climb that has defeated many before them. The group of women and the men who support them are on the brink of achieving their dreams, but it still takes time to acclimate and build endurance to achieve their goals. Justine is the smallest of the team and her initial encounter with their guide, Karl Vogel, is electric even though Karl has his doubts that the diminutive lady will be able to keep up with them. He discovers just how wrong he is the following morning when she is the only one to pitch up for a morning run. I found this book informative as it describes their preparation and training, especially given the era when women still did mountaineering in heavy long skirts. The tension between Justine and Karl keeps building and although Justine feels a freedom with Karl that she has never before experienced, she is nevertheless wary of allowing him into her life. However, as the suspense mounts, she finally comes to the realization that she needs him in every way possible. This novel is part of a series and it helps to read the books in sequence as they build on one another, and although Karl and Justine reach an understanding, the story is far from over. I received a copy of this interesting novel as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest review.

This book did not quite get my attention as book 2 did. Justine and Karl were nice together, but until the end she does not even know his family and background and she still marries him. Hmm seemed a little unreal, especially when you're going to be living in a new country and do not even know the language. The book was very focused on Justine and her poor misunderstood character that it became a bit annoying.

Another excellent book by Edie Cay! Justine has so much energy for life that is misunderstood by society. I love how she is true to herself and believes in herself, no matter what. She and Karl are the cutest couple. They are both strong, they believe is supporting others, and they love being able to move in nature. Their story is so sweet filled with suppressed heat.

Thank you Dragonblade and Netgalley for this arc.

I've read Edie Cay before and I don't remember her books being this choppy. I've had to stop and reread way too many sentences in order to try and understand what is really being said. The heroine is also arrogant, ignorant, and irritating. The hero is merely arrogant and irritating. I'm afraid I won't be finishing this one.
