Overall, I enjoyed this book. Part One was my favourite. It made me think of the novel, Rebecca: the house that means so much, the wife before who died, and the new wife unearthing secrets.
After this, this book became more of a usual psychological thriller, not that it's a bad thing. I did work out a lot of the reveals fairly early though. It didn't spoil my enjoyment.
The epilogue is odd. I don't think it was needed. The turn it took for a particular character didn't fit the rest of the book in terms of genre. I also think the final revelation wasn't totally believable in terms of switching culprits for a crime. Surely the victim would've known even in the situation they were?

Leah wants to find herself a rich, older man. She finds this one evening in Miles Sinclair who she meets in a London bar. In his fifties he’s a good 30 years older than Leah and is also a widower. His wife died in tragic circumstances in France and he wants to move on. Their relationship develops quickly and both think they have found what they are looking for.
He takes Leah to his French chateau where she meets his recently bereaved cousin, Vivienne. She does not seem to like Leah and decides to mention Riley, Miles’ first wife, at every opportunity she gets. Leah begins to feel uneasy at the place where the former Mrs Sinclair died. All around her are memories and the locals have hinted that Riley’s death was not an accident, as claimed.
As plans for a wedding are accelerated Leah realises she will not be getting the wedding day she envisaged. With no friends or family nearby and trying to find out how Riley died, is she sure she is doing the right thing?
Lots of twists and turns here make for a very exciting read! I read this very quickly and can honestly say I really enjoyed it! All three characters are flawed and it’s easy to see what Leah is trying to do by marrying into a rich family. But Vivienne and Miles have their own secrets and have a very close relationship. Can Leah get to the bottom of what happened to Riley?
I absolutely loved this book. It’s glamorous and has some excellent twists right up to the last few pages. An excellent one for a holiday read or just wanting to escape to France for a ride through the countryside or a lounge by the pool! Highly recommended!
Thank you very much to NetGalley and the author for the advanced copy.

The characters were well developed and I found myself staying up way past my bedtime to finish it. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this incredible book! I will definitely be sharing it with all of my fellow book lovers!

I mostly enjoyed this book. There were a few sections where I had to do some speed reading to stay interested, but overall it was a good book focusing on money, power and relationship dymanics. The ending felt right for the book as well as the shocking twist at the end which I was not expescting at all.

"The Last Mrs. Sinclair" is certainly an addictive psychological thriller. It is an unsettling yet compulsive read that will have you hanging onto every word from start to finish. From the very first page, I was hooked and couldn't put it down! The story is twisty and filled with secrets that will keep you guessing at every turn. Just when you think you've figured it out, Emerson throws in another jaw-dropping twist that leaves you wanting more. Trust me, if you're looking for a thrilling escape into a world of suspense and intrigue, this is the book for you! Highly recommend.

This book was pretty captivating with some twisty turns along the way.
Thanks to NetGallery for this Arc

I absolutely loved this book from the start. I like when a book grabs me from the start. I enjoyed T.J Emerson's writing style and felt like I really got to know the characters. Just when I thought I knew what was going on there was a twist and then another twist.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC. I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends and followers.

Want a book with several twist that you will not see coming then pick this book up! I could not stop reading and recommend this book!

I really enjoyed reading 'The Last Mrs. Sinclair'! I thought multiple times while reading this thriller than I knew the upcoming ending, but each time was proven wrong. I also really was rooting for the imperfect main character, Leah. I liked hearing the story from multiple characters' point of view. When I finished, I even googled for more books to read by this author!

The Last Mrs. Sinclair was kind of a fun thriller with a bit of paranormal thrown in on the side. Rich, older, widower who wants you to marry him - yes please! :Travel to a French chateau and shopping? Yes please! Potential groom's older female cousin who's the housekeeper and a bit off her rocker, umm no thank you! The book kept my attention and I would definitely want to read more from this author.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. It was a very great storyline and easy to follow. Very hard to put down once I started. Can’t wait to read more from this Author!

This was right up my alley, a twisty thriller with sex, lies and money right from the first page. Leah is a girl who heeds the advice of her mother who said “don’t marry for love” and “relationships are about power not love and you must have the upper hand”. She seeks out rich, older men and suddenly one seems to come out of nowhere and walk right into her life. Miles is very rich and owns property in France. He still grieving the loss of his young wife Riley who died in an accident at their French estate.
Miles is smitten with Leah and he invites her to his Frech Chateau where she meets his close cousin Vivienne. The story is mostly set in France where Miles proposes to Leah in a whirlwind courtship.
Leah is not so sure about the marriage to a man she doesn’t love but she loves the idea of living a rich life of luxury.
Just when I thought I had everything predicted there was a twist at the end that I did not see coming. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this great ARC!

The Last Mrs. Sinclair by T.J. Emerson tells the story of Leah Williams, who wants a life of luxury. While on the prowl, she meets Miles Sinclair, a rich widower. His French chateau hides dark secrets about his late wife’s death. As Leah uncovers more, she wonders if she’s in danger. The Last Mrs. Sinclair was hard to put down and was a quick read.

I loved this book, so well written with a great plot, and great charchters. With a suprising ending. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

A really enjoyable read, a little slow starting however I was hooked after a couple of chapters and then couldn't put it down. Brilliant writing style which made it all so much better xx

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book!
This book was one of those that grabs you and makes you want to keep reading. When the second perspective came in and some things were revealed I wondered how it would end since the "twist" was revealed early but I was mistsken for sure! TJ Emerson really impressed me with the ending, although I thought the epilogue was weird.

Psycho thriller about Leah searching for wealthy husband. She marries Miles, 30 years her senior, and lives in London at his estate, along with his sister Vivienne. Mile’s previous wife died at the home. Good plot and twist at the end but too much explicit sex.

"The Last Mrs. Sinclair" by T.J. Emerson is about a young woman in her 20s, Leah Williams, who continues to be haunted by her past and actions of her parents. Leah has her eye on the finer things in life and is determined to create a life of comfort and security for herself no matter what it may take to get her there. While part one was a little slow, it gave us insight into Leah's background, authentic personality, and suspense/mystery of the story. Each part that followed continued to bring on more gripping twists and insightful character development. I enjoyed the authors takes on themes of love, power, money, and self-discovery through this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book.

This would make the ideal holiday/ break away read. I loved the story development when it got to part 2 and then the rest of the book flew by! A great read. A lot of conflict over if I liked the main character (Leah) or not. Thanks for the early access to this book.
