This was definitely more of a slow burn. There were some awful characters who were slimy and conniving, and those are the best in thrillers! Going back and forth between a woman who has amnesia anxiety ends up at a strangers secluded cabin and a woman trying to find out what her husband is hiding from her. The tension builds as both women get close to discovering who the men they are trusting truly are. I did not expect the twist this one threw at me, but wanted a little more! The ending felted a little rushed, and I wanted more details as I was so invested in the story! Other than that, I enjoyed Gravewater Lake!

Thanks to #NetGalley and #BrillancePublishing for the book #GravewaterLake by #AMStrong and #SonyaSargent. This book should get all the stars. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. Full of secrets, lies and paranoia wrapped up nice and neat till the crazy plot twist. A woman wakes up near a lake in a remote place and cannot remember anything of her life. She makes it to the nearest house where a man named Gregg lives and he takes her in. As she struggles to get her memory back, she hears voices but Gregg insists there is nobody else there. With the internet down and the bridge out, she feels trapped and wonders if she is in danger. What she finds is shocking and she knows she may not make it out alive.

"Gravewater Lake" is a riveting read that masterfully employs dual points of view to craft a suspenseful narrative. The authors skillfully intertwine non-linear perspectives, creating layers of tension and intrigue throughout the story. As the plot unfolds, the atmosphere is thick with unease, keeping readers on edge as they piece together the clues scattered within the narrative. Just when you think you have it all figured out, the twist hits you like a freight train—completely unexpected and brilliantly executed. Highly recommend.
Thank you A.M. Strong, Sonya Sergeant, Thriller Book Lovers, NetGalley and Brilliance Publishing for allowing me to read in advance, in return I am leaving an honest review

If you let your imagination just go with the story, this one is manageable. The two plot twists merge together towards the end and it felt disjointed to me. Not a fan of how it all went down. Average rating for an average book.
I enjoyed the narrator, she did a great job!

After reading the debut novel The Last Girl Left, I knew this novel was NOT one I would pass on.
The setting is a secluded house, a women with amnesia, a snow storm and so many questions and concerns.
“Anna” shows up on Gregg's door. He is handsome and invites her in because the roads are closed.
This whole novel is atmospheric, heart-pounding and full of all kinds of thriller elements that grabbed my attention.
I will read anything this duo writes! I had both the book and audio. The narrator was phenomenal!

This book was SO good and completely addictive!!
I love thrillers with an amnesia trope and this one delivered.
A woman stumbles upon a cabin in the snow, she cannot remember who she is or what happened to her- and possibly has a concussion - but the man at the cabin takes her in. Since it’s a snowstorm, they cannot seek help.
Flashbacks to another woman who has just found out her husband isn’t the man she thought he was- and all the events leading up to her finding out his true identity.
This book is bingeworthy and kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not figure it out but it was all tied together so well in the end. Definitely will be reading their debut novel now!
The narrator was also incredible.
4.5⭐️

🩵𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚊𝚢...The mystery was crazy in this one. Anna, our MC has no memory of why she was left nearly frozen & stranded at this lake house. When Gregg answers the door he gladly helps her, but things don’t go as you think they would. I mean you would suspect him to be responsible or for him to be a whack job, right?!? Well, I am not spoiling a thing, but that’s not how it plays out. You will keep on reading because you will be just as confused on what’s next as Anna is. This one is so unique in how it all unfolds & for that reason alone I kept on reading even though it didn’t wow me that much. The twist is great & I can see why others have raved over this locked in atmospheric thriller! The audio narration was well done & I enjoyed reading as an E-arc & in audio 🎧📲

Loved this book! And the audio was the perfect reading experience. Not all narrators make it so you can see the story playing out in your mind - but with this one you can. I also read the physical book while listening to the audio. 5 million stars.
When I began the book:
Ever since I read 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝐺𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝐿𝑒𝑓𝑡, I knew I’d be reading every book this duo writes. And this book only confirms that I will def be doing just that.
I love a compelling lost memory thriller, and this one this one is delivering. It hooks you from the start and leaves you questioning the mystery of what’s really happening here. The intriguing link between the two girls - and the ensuing questions about whether they’re the same person or connected in another way - slowly gnaws at your mind.
With shorter chapters, this is the perfect type of read that I love. It’s engaging in every sense and I’m convinced this will be a 5 star read!
After: Everything I started out saying was exactly how it ended!
Will be posting my review on my tour date! GRs, Amazon, IG, TikTok etc

I read the book and listened to the audiobook and wow, what a ride! I finished it in a day because I was so sucked into it so quickly! Another hit by these authors! Read this if you love an isolated setting during a snowstorm and not knowing who to trust. I was really shocked when I found out what was happening. I loved the narration of the audiobook.

I was approved as an ARC for this book, it was a very interesting book with a good story line and twists I didn’t see coming. The characters were all well built up. My only opinion is the book could have been shorter. It dragged on a little in the middle of the story. Other than that I enjoyed the book

I want to start with saying: that twist - OMG. Did. Not. See. That. Coming. Crazy!
This was a cleverly written book that makes you think something and then second guess that thought. It was a unique story. So that’s refreshing! I thought it might be another lifetime mystery-esque story. But I should have known better! This story is told from 2 perspectives, Adria before and Anna now. It gives an interesting spin to the book.
I both read the ebook and listened to the audiobook. The narrator kept me invested in the story, wanting to know more about what happened next. She did a great job with portraying the suspense and tense moments. I was able to visualize the story as I listened. I read the ebook when I wasn’t able to listen. But I tried to listen as much as possible! Amanda Dolan may have just got herself added to my must listen list!
I was so excited for this book (and swag box!) after reading their last novel. Now I have to impatiently wait for their next.

The novel revolves around a woman who wakes up with no memory by a lake and seeks shelter from a mysterious man named Gregg. As she tries to piece together her past, she begins to suspect that something is not right with both the man and the house they are in.
This book is a thrilling rollercoaster ride filled with unexpected twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a must-read for fans of Freida McFadden, especially if you enjoy fast-paced and unpredictable events. The main character's memory loss adds an intriguing element to the story, making everyone who shows up after seeming suspicious. I found myself constantly guessing and second-guessing, always a step behind the surprising outcomes and true identities of the characters.
The intricate plot and constant guessing game make this book impossible to put down. If you enjoy a secluded thriller with unexpected twists and turns, this book is perfect for you. It is a binge-worthy read that will leave you craving more. The story delves into themes of deception, mystery, and the danger of uncovering the truth.
I had the privilege of listening to the audiobook. The narrator's performance was a perfect fit, creating a suspenseful atmosphere that made it hard to pause. I was so engrossed in the story that I had to cancel my plans to finish the book in one day. I highly recommend this book or if you prefer an audiobook!
Thank you, Brilliance Publishing and the Pulse Team for the ARC copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Amanda Dolan’s narration was so on point, creating an atmosphere of intense suspense!
This books immediately submerges you into intense drama and suspicion! And it never lets up! A psychological thriller that had me guessing to the very end. I was questioning the narrator, the other characters, and maybe even other forces of unknown origin.
When a woman wakes up by a lake, wet and nearly frozen with a head injury and no memories she stumbles across a cabin where the owner, Gregg is surprised to see her on his doorstep. But then eerie happenings have the main characters questioning her safety. Meanwhile, we are also given glimpses of a dual timeline hinting at marital problems. Exactly how and why did this character end up practically on deaths door?

4.5/5 (rounded up)
I did NOT see that ending coming!!! Wow, they completely fooled me into thinking one thing then completely flipped it on its head 🤯 I nearly binged this whole thing in one listen. I don’t want to give anything away because the twists are so good, but I promise it’s worth it!

This is one I was really intrigued by the premise, but unfortunately, it just fell entirely flat for me. It started with a bang but I found myself really bored. It didn't hold my attention and the FMC was frustrating to me. I couldn't continue and had to DNF.
