A beautiful collection of Christmas stories, reminiscent of my stories from my childhood. Adding this to my ‘hardcover to be purchased list’. A great book to have on display around the holidays.
Thank you NetGalley and Penguin Group Viking for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a lovely collection of Christmas stories. It should be shared with your whole family as a Christmas tradition!

I enjoy this retelling of a Swedish fairytale. It's warm and compelling, something I could read aloud to a friend or child.
Christmas may be over but it doesn't hurt to feel its glow in the new year. Feels like a good book to put on your comfy chair, along with a warm blanket and fuzzy slippers, as you reach over to stoke the fire in the fireplace before settling down.

There are memories from childhood which give us something from a book with different meaning that changed peoples minds. A different type of man who is given a home and close that he could wear and left with disclosing he was a thief and returned the monies he stole. We have a clerical body that looks at the predators and the animals they tended to kill as told by a witch which tenth clerical body told to the parishioners to the end of bears and wolves. Other stories are told and you have to listen for the meaning to make the most of it.
