One of my favorite tropes to read is when regular people like me and you fall in love with royalty. That whole Cinderella story tale. Caitlin has only ever seen the Prince in magazines until one night she spots him in the bar and takes a glimpse. He is much more handsome and refined IRL. As usual Prince David is the Playboy type prince in the US, giving himself a break from his royal duties in the UK. Over the course of the novel, Caitlin and David start to fall for one another and eventually begin dating as they do. David finds Caitlin a breath of fresh air as she doesn't seem to care that he's royalty and she doesn't want anything from him except his love and to get to know the "real" David. What will happen though when David takes Caitlin home, and she doesn't fit into the British idea of who the royal family should date? Will Caitlin be thrown to the wolves and discover a whole new side of life? A life where she must decide what she wants as when you become part of the royal family - your life is always under scrutiny and there's no being half-in, you have to commit your full self to the royal way of life. The other thing that I liked about this story was that it was David's sister who was to be Queen not David as the King. Nice to have a female take the throne in a book for a change. If you love royalty stories, then check out the series "The Young Royals" today. Perfect for those who dream of the fantasy of one day becoming a princess.

Good story with wonderful characters. The characters were relatable and well developed. I enjoyed the dual POV - I like hearing the story from both sides. With regards to the storyline - - the author did a great job making a fantasy seem realistic and every day ordinary. The author does a great job with holding your attention. I am excited for the next book!
