I’m not 100% sure how I feel about this one. The concept had potential but I am not on board with a sex therapist that participates with his clients. I chose to listen to the Audible version of this book and I am willing to be honest and say that I do believe this was part of the problem. I tried to separate the narrator from the story but found it quite hard. The narrator was monotone and often over pronounced words. I’m curious to see if these obstacles can be overcome and at this point am still willing to read the next and see if it gets any better.

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

When I read the synopsis for this story I was totally on board with wanting to read/review it. I'm thinking it would be a great story to read from a sex therapist POV. This particular sex therapist is a player. A major player. His character is well written and he definitely comes off as a player. There are some instances of tenderness in him though. He plays like he's not interested in settling down but I think he would definitely be caught if he found the right woman to handle him.

When he meets Lina it's all he can do to stay away from her but seeks her out when he can. There's one BIG issue where Lina is concerned that will prohibit or rather may entice Dr. Sessions to spends as much time with her as possible. I think there will be some interesting intervals with these two in the future books. I am looking forward to seeing how these two work around their obstacles and what may build for the future.

Definitely worth checking this serial series out!
