Thank you Net Galley for the ARC!
Heather Webber does it again with The Forget-Me-Not Library—a heart-tugging, quietly magical story about second chances, healing, and the surprising ways we find exactly what we need, right when we need it most.
Set in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Forget-Me-Not, this novel centers around three unforgettable women. As the women’s stories slowly entwine, the novel unpacks grief, forgiveness, and the invisible threads that connect us. The magical realism is subtle but powerful—books appear when needed, forgotten memories resurface, and the library itself feels alive with possibility.
Webber’s writing is lyrical and warm, filled with charm, emotional depth, and hope. Fans of Midnight at the Blackbird Café will absolutely love this one. I didn’t want to leave Forget-Me-Not—or the women who call it home.
A gentle reminder that sometimes, the story we need most is the one we didn’t expect to find.

I don't know how Heather Webber manages to write such wonderfully, likeable characters every single time but, well done! As much as I don't like car trouble, I would not mind breaking down in this sweet, little town. Once again, this will be an easy recommend for anyone needing to escape for a little while, it pairs nicely with a pot of tea and a plate of cookies.

Heather Webber’s The Forget-Me-Not Library is a heartwarming tale that intertwines the lives of two women at pivotal moments in their lives. Juliet Nightingale, having survived a lightning strike, embarks on a solo road trip to rediscover herself. Her journey leads her to Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, where she meets Tallulah Byrd Mayfield, a newly single mother adjusting to life with her daughters and grandfather. Tallulah finds solace working at the local library, a place rich with memories. Together, Juliet and Tallulah uncover the magic in their shared stories and the strength found in unexpected friendships.
This novel exudes the charm reminiscent of a Fannie Flagg story, where the town itself becomes a character, filled with quirky individuals and a sense of community. While it carries the comforting vibes of a Hallmark movie, it delves deeper with a robust plot and emotional depth. The narrative weaves multiple storylines, each touching on themes of hope, grief, love, belonging, and the beauty of found family. Webber’s writing offers numerous quotable and tender moments, making it a delightful read for those seeking inspiration and warmth.

Welcome to Forget-Me-Not, Alabama—a charming town with a touch of magic and a knack for giving people exactly what they need, whether they realize it or not.
After a life-altering accident, Juliet finds herself reevaluating everything she thought she knew. Meanwhile, Tallulah, fresh off a painful divorce, is searching for a fresh start and a place to heal. Their paths converge in this enchanting little town, where the unexpected has a habit of turning into something beautiful.
As their stories intertwine, Juliet and Tallulah discover the quiet power of second chances, soul-deep connections, and a town that seems to have a mind—and heart—of its own. With a library cat that knows just what you need and a community that runs on kindness and karma, The Forget-Me-Not Library is a luminous tale of healing, hope, and the kind of everyday magic that lingers long after the last page.
Heather Webber, a true master of magical realism, once again invites readers into a world where the unbelievable feels not just possible, but wonderfully real.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Heather Webber, and St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read The Forget-Me-Not Library!

What a beautiful story. Richly described characters who were all loveable in their own way. With a little magic and a very determined cat (who did not love Delkie?) The lost or sad souls who find themselves in Forget-Me-Not are given the love and compassion they need to find their true path. If only such a beautiful place existed in the day and age.

A southern town with charm and magical capabilities, characters with aching hearts and lost paths, a cat who chooses books specific to individuals and their memories - this novel is a gift for a reader’s soul, especially a library-lover. “The Forget-Me-Not Library” will be unforgettable in its messages, its simplicity, the warm-hearted people who grace the pages, and the comfort it leaves with you. What more could anyone want? (And, yes, there’s romance of all sorts, too!)

This is such a sweet and comforting book. It is set in a small town full of loving neighbors who take care of one and other. One of the main characters works in the town's library. The library has a cat in residence that seems to know which book to put in front of someone to bring back a forgotten memory. I am a big fan of books set in small towns with magical realism and this book is just perfect.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for a copy of this book for review.

This was so richly written that it felt like you could crawl inside and live in Forget-Me-Not. The characters were relatable and felt real - you felt deeply for each one and wanted them to live the life they were searching for. The elements of magical realism were deployed in a way that added depth and intrigue without becoming a distraction or taking you out of the storyline. Webber has such a gift for weaving a story that makes you feel like you're a part of it or watching from just nearby. Looking forward to reading more of her back catalog!

Forget -me- not is a small town not far from Birmingham, Alabama! Folklore says if you breakdown in town you were led there to heal. Juliet and Tallulah both grieving different lives they could have had and needing healing find a friendship between them! Heather Webber has a way of making you fall in love with small towns and magical feelings ! Next time a book drops in front of me I might just smell the pages!

Juliet had a freak accident with lightning, and though she is alive and well, she cannot shake that her life is missing something. On a whim, she decides to take a summer road trip in the hopes that her adventure will bring to light what that missing something is. In a different storyline, Tallulah's world was upended when her husband ended their marriage. Overnight, she becomes a single mom who moves in with her older grandfather, and then gets a job at the Forget-Me-Not Library, a place where older memories can be found within the books. When a detour lands Juliet to the library, she meets Talullah and begins to learn about magic and the places our lives take us.
This was a great book to reiterate a common lesson in life: sometimes it's not about the destination, but the journey. The library plays a bridge role in changing the paths of both Juliet and Tallulah, but when the two intersect then they equally play a role in each other's lives. I loved that they went on a healing and growth journey together, rather than the typical story arch of characters doing it alone. And I loved the dash of magical realism, it really made this book a heartfelt and intriguing read.

A wonderful story of two women in the special town of Forget Me Not. One is a newly single mom who is living with her grandfather and trying to find a way forward. The other finds herself stuck here after her car breaks down with a puff of orange smoke, which the town legend puts special meaning to. A lovely story with just enough magic and love to overwhelm and grief and anxiety. I loved it.

Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's for the opportunity to read The Forget-Me-Not Library
by Heather Webber. Sometimes the world presents you with the perfect book at the most perfect time. I am grateful.

Wonderful, feel good book. I was hooked from the very beginning. Juliet is stranded in Forget-Me-Not with a broken car, a hunky repairman and a group of gossipy (and very lovable) towns folks. Just like all of Heather Webber's standalone books, her latest release is filled with fun, hope, emotions and a little magic. I loved the way the author dropped subtle hints throughout the book only to tie them right back into the storyline by its conclusion. This was such a wonderfully enjoyable book. It might just be my favorite read of the year and I have read a lot of books thus far. Highly recommend.

As a child, the Library was my comfort zone. I spent hours reading, lost in fantastical worlds. Reading this book transported me back to my childhood in the most magical way. The author created warm, loveable characters. I only wish the town of Forget-Me-Not really existed. I highly recommend this book for anyone needing a ray of sunshine in this complicated world.

When you open this book you'll immediately feel the Southern hospitality coming out to greet you. Warm and friendly this book is.
Loved every minute of it. Especially the towns name!! Lol! Made me want to giggle. Still does.
The people in this town swiftly became my family and friends which is what I love about stories like these.
It also has a tendency to heal and make you smile too. I found myself laughing out loud in some places especially Tenn. I loved him instantly. The friendliest soul you'll ever want to meet.
I felt sorry for Juliet at first but then I loved watching her grow into the person that God meant for her to be.
Only time and healing along with a good dose of prayer will a body heal. But only if it's meant to be.
I didn't want this book to end it so so delightful with a cute cover.
I'm giving this precious story 5 stars for a job well done! I highly recommend!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

Heather Webber never fails to delight me and warm my heart. The Forget-Me-Not Library is at the heart of the delightful town of Forget-Me-Not where the locals take you in and care for you as one of their own. When Juliette's car breaks down in front of Tenn Greenlee's house, his family invites her to stay while her car is being repaired. Juliette has been on a road trip as part of her healing process after recently losing her grandfather when they were both struck by lightening. Her memory from before her college days is gone and she is understandably now terrified of thunderstorms.
Living with Tenn is his granddaughter, Tallulah and her two daughters, Katy and Mary Jo. As they all get to know each other, hearts open and Juliette's memories start to return. Others in their community welcome Juliette and she becomes a part of them. As in every town, they all have events in their lives affecting each other. Evanthe, the library director who is punishing herself for not spending more time with a loved one before they died,. Renny, who let the great love of his life leave town. Tallulah has her own story to tell as she tries to determine her path forward after a divorce. Come and meet the kindly souls of this special place. Maybe magic does exist!
What I most appreciate about this story is the care each person shows for the other, regardless of who or what they might be. Each character is fully alive and appreciated for who they are and how they are part of the greater family. Everyone is accepted for the person they are at that moment. I find myself wanting to sit on the porch with almost any of these characters, drinking my coffee and listening to the birds singing while petting the cat curled up in my lap. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Forget-Me-Not.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This book is like a hug for your soul. I don't know how Heather Webber does it. Its just like a comforting cup of coffee. Loved the folklore and love stories. Whoever marked this as sci fi obviously didn't read it. I wouldn't even say that this one is magical realism honestly. Just a good wholesome love story about letting go and finding yourself.

Another great read from Heather Webber. After a freak accident, Juliet sets out to escape and ends up in Forget-Me-Not, AL. Her car breaks down and her rescuers help,to changer her grief. ARC from NetGalley.

A lovely read. Lots of interesting characters and a town with an interesting characteristic. Southern living at its best. Romance abounds and life lessons are learned. Clean, sweet, thought provoking and poignant.

Special thanks to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy of this book. Heather Webber is at the TOP of my favorite authors list. I used to be hesitant to read magical realism, but Webber has completely changed that for me. She has a way of making unbelievable things believable. Every book of hers I have read, and The Forget-me-not Library is no different, I want to be and live in the town and with the people of the places that she creates. This book gave me all the feels. It's full of love, magic, whimsy, joy and laughter, but also also grief and sadness. Put this on you TBR list now!
