The blurb of fulfilment city intrigued me, and sadly my interest wasn't met by the book I read.

While the story has potential to be an engaging mystery, the characters and writing style let it down for me. Lydia, and Cherise were the most likeable of the bunch, but I found pretty much every other character to be insufferable!

The writing style is very loopy, in that it goes around in circles leaving you feeling lost and not quite sure what you read. It improves as the story finds its feet about half way through, but the first half was very slow paced.

I can't say how much I enjoyed reading Fulfillment City, it was an interesting and unique read. It's not quite a mystery, and as a result the "solution" doesn't quite land. It feels so close to being a critique of large online retailers without quite getting that point.

I can’t write an honest and complete review since I decided to not finish reading this book.
I started with the best intentions, paused for a few days, picked it back up. I just can’t get into it. I have no clue what’s going on,the writing is a bit disjointed and it would only frustrate me more if I read on.

thank you for netgalley and publisher for the chance. however, i decided to dnf the book at 40% because i've no idea what the book is about, it felt disjointed and unclear at times. and since i dnf, i won't post the review anywhere.
