A fun book about cousins. I grew up with lots of cousins and this reminded me of all the great summers and times we had. Sharing all of our likes, dislikes and what’s happened throughout our year while having fun with each other is exactly what this book shares. Child like illustrations of all the capers of the kids. Plus this book shows pure joy and the fun that is had.

I was drawn to this book because I too have wonderful memories of hanging out with my cousins at the lake in the summer. To this day, we are still quite close. I loved the art in this book, so bright and colourful. My biggest issue was the text - having a white text makes it very hard to see on a lot of the pages - it should be changed to something darker,

Margarita Del Mazo’s "Cousins" is a fun, laugh-out-loud picture book that perfectly captures the wild energy, mischief, and love that come with having a big, quirky family. After all, don't we all have family with quirks? The playful illustrations bring each cousin’s personality to life, making this a fun and relatable read for kids (and adults who remember their own childhood shenanigans). My elementary students will love this book because it will make them laugh while being relatable.

My son loves his cousins so he enjoyed this book so much! This is a great summer kids book for anyone who loves being around their cousins! He also enjoyed the illustration! Thank you for sharing!

I have searched far and wide for a book about cousins and came up empty. So when I came across this book, I knew I had to request a copy!
This story beautifully captures the bond between cousins—their unique personalities, the joy of their time together (especially during a magical summer), and the unbreakable connection that remains, no matter the distance. It highlights how cousins are the ones we can be our true selves with, the ones we carry in our hearts no matter where life takes us.
The illustrations in this book are absolutely stunning—a true work of art that brings the story to life in the most beautiful way.
As someone who grew up in a different country and has a family spread far and wide (and as a result, so do my kids), I truly related to this book and appreciated it. I can't wait to snag physical copies to give my kids and their cousins.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

What a wonderful book celebrating the special relationships we have with our cousins! Every cousin is different and appreciated, and even though they don't get to see each other a lot, they love all their time together. This is very sweet.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
