Avery has to go rescue her new best friend Gribblet, who is kidnapped in the genie realm. Along the way she teams up with 2 new friends, Franklin and Solong, and learns more about being a wishborn.

This series is great for 8-12 year old readers. The illustrations are really cute and colorful and the story is very simple and easy to read.

This was a great return to this world, I love how expanded the story was. The new characters introduce were very interesting. A note that this one may be a little more scary for some kiddos, but it has a happy ending.

This is a cute little tale of adventure and friendship. It adds to the story established in the first volume well without being repetitive in concept, but rather further exploring the world-building created in the first. The parents might have been a bit too unconcerned by their kid rushing off into danger, but other than that I enjoyed the story. It will be fun to see how kids react to this story when it is released.
