ARC REVIEW:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Marion De Rè’s Lilies, Lies, and Love is a love letter to the Windy City!
After losing multiple clients to a competing architecture firm, Asher is tasked with going undercover to gain insider secrets. However, his biggest takeaway is falling for his host, Daisy. Not only does she convince him the city has a lot to offer, she helps heal family wounds and opens his heart to love. But when his secret is unveiled will their connection outweigh his disception?
Lilies, Lies, and Love is the third book in De Rè’s Seasons of Love Series. I have been following this series since the very beginning. While I enjoyed the first two, this one has emerged as my favorite.
Daisy’s appreciation for architecture was infectious. By the transitive property, I walked away with newfound knowledge and fun trivia facts. Furthermore, the itinerary she created appears to be ideal for those visiting the city for the first time. I hope to one day travel to Chicago and use this book as a quasi travel guide!
Be sure to read this book if you enjoy clean romances that features popular tropes and the sweetest love story!!!
Special thanks to Netgalley, Victoria Editing, and Marion De Rè for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you, Netgalley and Marion De Ré for this arc!
My heart is full of love after finishing this swoony rom-com. It's such a sweet, quick read!
Daisy works at an architecture firm in Chicago. Asher works at an architecture firm in New York. Asher's boss sends him to Chicago to spy on the successful firm Daisy works. Asher pretends to be on a hunt for a new position at the firm Daisy works for to find out why it's so successful and which technologies they use. Daisy's role is to convince Asher to take the job at her firm. So, she shows Asher the windy city and its stunning historical buildings. As the days pass, romantic feelings grow between them.
I devoured this book. The characters are adorable, and I love the little Chicago vs. New York game they were playing about the historical buildings in both cities. It makes me want to go to Chicago and see all the beautiful buildings with my own eyes! And I want Daisy as my guide, obviously! I couldn't get enough of this book. This was such an amazing read!

Lilies, Lies, and Love was such a fun, fast-paced read that kept me entertained from start to finish.
I absolutely loved the witty banter and the way the main characters kept trying to outsmart each other. Their playful rivalry, paired with sizzling chemistry, made for such an engaging dynamic. The mix of secret identities, a Chicago backdrop, and a work-based rivalry added layers of excitement, while the slow-burn romance and protective hero brought all the swoon-worthy moments.
Throw in a family reunion, a touch of fake dating, and just the right amount of heartfelt moments, and you have the perfect sweet romcom. If you love clever characters, laugh-out-loud antics, and a romance that keeps you hooked, this one is definitely worth picking up!

“Don’t you see it? How crazy you make me? I want to kiss you until your knees buckle. Until you can’t forget the taste of my lips on yours.”

This was a really cute and clean read! I really enjoyed reading about Asher and Daisy getting to know each other and all the complicated relationships of their past. Asher deals with the big contradiction of his growing feelings for Daisy and desire for the job promotion he deserves but is being withheld from him because, let's face it, his boss is a jerk.

He's been promised the promotion at work that he's wanted for a while. However the task his boss assigns him doesn't sit right.
Her boss wants her to convince a prospective employee to take the position she's wants.
What will they do? How does he react when he's confronted with his past? Will they be happy when it's all said and done?

Reading Lilies, Lies, Love felt like watching a heartwarming Hallmark movie—sweet, charming, and full of feel-good moments. It’s a quick read that pulls you in with its adorable romance and immersive setting.
Daisy’s mission to make Asher fall in love with Chicago completely worked on me, too! The book beautifully showcases the city’s architecture, food, and atmosphere, making me want to follow her exact itinerary and experience everything firsthand. The romance is light and delightful, complementing the vibrant backdrop of Chicago.
If you love cozy romances with a strong sense of place, this book is a great pick. It’s the perfect blend of wanderlust and love story—definitely worth a read!
Thank you to Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a kisses only contemporary romcom that is the 3rd book in the Season of Love series. It is the first book that I have read by this author and can completely be enjoyed without having read the other stories in this series. I don't even know if the books are related. I read that the series is set in different seasons and locations.
This book was full of facts about Chicago. I thought I was reading a book by a native and was shocked that it was written by someone that doesn't even live in the United States. I don't believe English is her first language, but I never would have guessed that! This is a very well written and well edited book. Maybe because someone that doesn't speak English as a first language is more aware of proper grammar. Either way, I was very impressed. And I want to read the other books this author has written.
Now in addition to the wealth of knowledge provided about Chicago, there was also a very sweet romance. One thing I will note is that brief references are made to couples that live together and are not married. No details regarding intimacy are given.
I was given an advanced digital copy of this book to read by the author via Netgalley. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Lilies, Lies and Love was a pleasure to read! It was entertaining, fresh, interesting and full of amazing architectural and historical facts about Chicago. I visited the city a few years ago, and even though I loved it, I didn’t appreciate it as much as Daisy. I’d have loved to have a friend or tourist guide as passionate as her. It definitely made me put it back on my wish list of places to visit. There are so many landmarks to see and food to eat, I actually did a virtual tour while Daisy described every single historical and interesting fact to Asher. I can’t say this made me enjoy the book any less because even though it took me longer to finish it, I was so invested that it didn’t take any fun out of the experience.
Asher is a talented architect working at a New York prestigious architecture firm whose clients have been switching to a rival firm in Chicago. His boss is adamant to get back his clients up to the point to offer Asher a promotion if he does some corporate espionage.
Daisy is this passionate and nerdy architect who is giving the task to make this young and talented architect from New York fall in love with the city.
Their relationship is full of banter and chemistry. It was a delightful to see these two characters heal their past wounds and grow together into this amazing and happy couple.
I thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC. This is my voluntary and honest review.

I like that every book in the series takes us to a different city. After Paris and Winter Hights, we now explore the best parts of Chicago with Daisy and Asher.
They both work for architecture firms. While Daisy’s boss asked her to convince him to take a job at their firm, Asher is trying to spy for his boss.
Even if the relationship between them starts with a lie, Asher is a sweet character and he stars to care for Daisy. It was so nice that he immediately remembers her complicated coffee order.
Also, Daisy is there for him when he reconnects with his brother and mother.
Marion managed to create a beautiful and believable love story is a short book. As they spend a lot of time together, it did not feel too fast.
If you did not read them yet, I also recommend the other books in the series “Paris, Pumpkins and Puns” and “Ski, Sparks and Serendipity”.
