Woman to Woman: African American Voices on Faith, Resilience, and Joy is a four-part anthology that reflects on the spiritual journeys of Black American women. With thematic elements centered on cultural reflection, spirituality, and womanhood, most entries utilize a first-person perspective to convey sociocultural and spiritual dialogues.
A unique blend of diverse voices depicts conviction as a source of strength to navigate personal loss and struggles, collective oppression, and societal expectations. A practical resource for both practicing and non-practicing Christians, this collaborative work serves as a practical tool, a devotional, and an illustration of experience and resilience that is both communal and individualistic.
This work portrays faith as a nuanced expression of womanhood, featuring authors who reflect the diversity and complexity of American and African American cultures. Among its many strengths is the definition of joy as a profound, embodied experience that affirms humanity and illustrates the duality and diversity among Black women.
The subtle challenges to stereotypes associated with the Black church, Black motherhood, Black sisterhood, and Black single womanhood reflect concerns expressed weekly in hair salons and highlight how and why intersectionality exists and influences the experiences of Black American women.
This title, published by Our Daily Bread Publishers, is a multifaceted celebration of Black women's diverse identities and experiences. It honors every aspect of both figurative and literal Black womanhood, using class, community, gender, geography, and race as lenses for developing and sustaining relationships with God.
Rooted in community and resilience, this book is designed to foster personal reflection and will resonate with individuals who share an introspective faith.

24 African American women come together to present essays on leadership, not in a bullet point or check-off-the-box style, but in a lived-out faith. Highly relatable and practical. I'm very partial to the following essays: She came to slay; You are not a black superwoman; and leaving a legacy.
