I enjoyed this book. It pulled you right in and kept you turning the pages. This book was well written and I had no issues following the story. It tied into the other books in the series well.
I did not get a chance to finish this novel. Based on the description, I was very intrigued and upon reading the story my expectations kind of fell flat. I know for some this might be the kind of romance book theyre looking for but I was expecting something a little different. This novel is in 3rd person POV which I also felt was a problem because I didn't exactly connect with the characters like I wanted too.
This! This is how a book should be. Porter and Kenzie are phenomenal together. The heat between them is scorching, but the emotions... The emotion the author gives you between the lines is just so gripping. Watching the chance between Kenzie at the beginning and Kenzie in the end is how I like to see a character grow. Her past is heartbreaking but her future is uplifting. Porter is the perfect mix of Dominant and caring. At no time does the author stray from both of those. At no time do you feel he became too soft or so dominant that he becomes that hero you end up hating. The storyline was interesting and there was enough back story, though I'd like to have found out a teensy bit more. I was more than happy with the result though.
