Absolutely Brilliant!!!..A stunning story that I really thoroughly enjoyed.
Jewel E Ann always writes stories that weave their way into my heart and Ozzy and daughter Lola made my heart weep.
It is an emotional book with the focus on grief and how it effects everyone who loved the deceased.
Ozzy is a widow with a 10 year old daughter who has the emotional and physical scars of her mothers death.
Ozzy dedicates his life to Lola and their life is both simple and complicated..he needed help after his wife passed away and so lives with her parents, his in-laws...while he goes back to work.
You might think that this isn't complicated but His mother in law blames him for her daughters death and will do anything to make his life miserable.
I know she has lost her daughter but I found it hard to like her,she was really hard on all of them but I did soften towards her near the end.
Ozzy is a mechanic who fixes planes and he has been in the job only a few months when he encounters a woman in the mens bathroom at work..He helps her but doesn't see her face so when they do meet their is an instant attraction there.
Maren flies planes and puts out fires she is a strong badass woman and I really liked her..She was so understanding and patient with Ozzy.
Ozzy and Maren's romance comes with obstacles and alot of emotional baggage as Lola has anxiety about cars and well living with his in-laws is a huge problem.
Lola is the cutest and she has some funny moments in this book especially with embarrassing her dad Ozzy, wanting him to start dating....she is such a brave little girl.
I totally fell in love with Ozzy he is the sweetest and WOWSERS super sexy behind closed doors,a people pleaser too which becomes a hinderance. He is trying to please everyone to the detriment to his own happiness...He also has to deal with the guilt of wanting another woman who is not his wife.
Ozzy and Maren have an unusual dating life and have to sneak around and be secretive because of his mother in Law...Yet they are both determined to make it work.
Maren is like Ozzy and Lola's saviour she is perfect antidote to their lives and helps them heal.
There is so much more to this story and has alot of deep subjects and it is charged with emotion I did cry for all of them in this little family.
The narration was exceptional by Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden who portrayed these characters with the humour and the feelings that was needed.
Benjamin is new to me and I have never listened to his voice before and I have to say he is very easy on the ears and his voice is very melodic.
Amy is a gem and I always enjoy hearing her narrations she always does a fantastic job.
I loved listening to both Benjamin and Amy tell this story they were wonderful.
From No Where by Jewel E Ann is a Superb listen.

From Nowhere is book 2 in the Wildfire series, it can read fine as a standalone. I enjoyed going back to this setting and getting to see Maren’s story. I loved the awkward and funny meet cute at work, it truly got me invested in their story. I did feel that the relationship went a little fast for my personal liking, that would be my only complaint. It was a little too insta love/lust. It just didn't feel completely natural in the beginning. I wasn't sure, but the more the story progressed the more I fell in love with them and their story.
I loved that Maren was a tanker pilot, a woman in a male dominated field. I thought that was fun and brought on a great aspect to the book. The banter between Ozzy and her was so much fun, their chemistry was hot and the way their relationship evolved was beautiful. Lola, Ozzy's 10 year old daughter truly stole the show, she was so darn adorable and mature for her age. I loved watching them becoming a family and overcoming their issues all together.
Overall, it was a beautiful love story that tugged at my heartstrings. I really enjoy Jewel E. Anne's writing style and can't wait to read more from this series.
🎧 The narration by Benjamin Sands & Amy McFadden was great. I enjoyed listening to them. They had great tones, portrayed the emotions nicely, but there were some things that did feel awkward in the intimate moments. It was still a very enjoyable audio.

From Air was my first book by Jewel and I absolutely loved it so I knew I had to continue the series! I did the first one on audio so chose to this one on audio as well and it did not disappoint!
This book was emotional and Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden did an excellent job at portraying the heartbreaking story. — Ozzy and his daughter Lola are navigating life two years after the death of Lola’s mother that left a lasting fear of riding in cars. Ozzy and Maren have to navigate their relationship around Ozzy’s disapproving in-laws and Maren’s job as a pilot.
Lola really steals the show and is so special, and I love the relationship she builds with Maren. Jewel is excellent at writing these emotional stories that also bring laughter and joy, this one through Lola.
I can’t wait to continue this series and appreciate the early review copy from Valentine PR!

I just finished another Jewel E. Ann book, and man, she does it again! Seriously, she knows how to grab you right from the start and not let go. It's like she's got a direct line to your feels or something.
This one's got real-life struggles but she throws in a ton of laughs, a sweet love story, and just a whole lot of don't give up vibes. Maren and Ozzy's road to being together was bumpy, but it was so worth it. You'll be rooting for them the whole time.
Ozzy's daughter Lola- oh my heart! That kid just stole the show. I just wanted to give her the biggest hug and make sure she had the best life ever. Her bond with Ozzy was just adorable, and seeing Maren fit into their little world was just perfect.
Narrators Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden nailed the dual narration. Each character felt so real and genuine. They really brought out all the emotions, the funny bits, the sad bits, everything. Seriously, they made the story even better.
If you're looking for a book that'll make you laugh, cry, and leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy, this is it. Jewel E. Ann just gets it right every time. Highly recommend!
Thank you Valentine PR and NetGalley for an ALC of this audiobook. I voluntarily listened and gave an honest review.

Emotional wrecking ball of a read that's what Fom Nowhere was. I loved it but my emotions are a bit raw. This author knows how to write stories that destabilize emotions and also make you think and see things in a different light.
What really stood out to me in this story was the inner turmoil and struggles of the characters especially Ozzy. It was very well done. I didn't love all the decisions that he made but I understood where he was coming from. I loved the progression of his and Maren's relationship. It felt very natural and real.
The narrators did a superb job of bringing this book to life. It was truly a pleasure listening to them while they took my emotions on an unforgettable ride. I can't sing the praises of this book enough - it was amazing. Go read it as well as the previous book, it was also amazing.

The emotional element to this story was really pulling at my heartstrings. Ozzy and his daughter Lola have been through so much.
The meet cute if you call it that was very interesting story and really pulled me into the beginning of the story. We meet Maren in book one and I loved getting to know her more in this story.
The audiobook is narrated by Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden. Amy was such a perfect voice for Maren.
“It’s never the things I see coming that take my breath away. It’s the moments that come from nowhere. A lost wallet. A car accident.
And an empty toilet paper roll.”

This is a good “all the feels” one y’all. Ozzy & Lola have a pretty heavy situation going on and Maren is the light that they need.
I love that Maren falls for Lola first and she is able to make life a little easier & happier for her. Omg Lola’s no filter reminds me of a young Violet from Helena Hunting’s Pucked series😜 Lola & Dakota are quite the pair & I love that Dakota is a thorn in Ozzy’s side 😬
Who knew that “the tampon guy” was everything Maren didn’t know she needed. 💕
From Nowhere is the perfect blend of lite, heavy and everything in between💕 Benjamin & Amy were perfect. They definitely brought out the fun flirty feelings of falling and the heavy emotions of dealing with life after loss.

My first Jewel E Ann book and I think I have found a new author to love!
This story follows Ozzie a widowed single dad living with his in-laws who help raise his daughter. He had started a new mechanic job working on planes.
Maren is a firefighter pilot who has an interesting morning when she meets Ozzie for the first time. She lost her brother and now lives with two guys who are her very close friends.
I found this book to be sweet, sad at times, absolutely hilarious at points, and spicy mixed in. The way that the author wrote the daughter was just perfection. Sometimes kids don’t come off the best in these books but I loved her. The mother in law starts off like you hate her but by the end you feel for her grieving heart.
Truly a heartwarming story about love, loss, and finding your happy place again.

When I say I devoured this audiobook, I mean I DEVOURED IT! I fell immediately for Ozzy and Maren during their original and hilarious meet-cute, and fell simultaneously for Ozzy's daughter Lola who is a scene-stealer throughout the book.
In true JEA fashion, she has written a unique, angsty, and addictive love story between two characters who have undeniable chemistry and share the same passion. Ozzy and Lola's tragic past combined with Maren's dangerous and bold career choice are just a few of many obstructions standing in the way of both of them fully giving themselves to the other. As their story unfolds through humor, wit, banter, and TENSION between them, you can't help but cheer for each of these characters - including adorable Lola.
JEA never disappoints in bringing out ALL THE FEELS, and this book is no different. I am already thinking about listening to it again. Well done once again JEA!!!
