Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy of this audiobook
This is a duet and it had sirens and wind sounds like a movie. Was not realizing that going in but it was absolutely amazing. The characters were absolutely lovely and fun. I would definitely recommend this story for anyone who likes the movie Twister 🌪️.

What a wild ride.
Whirlwind is a terrific title. It perfectly describes their romance and the excitement of tornado chasing. This was a flawless execution of a “Twister”-inspired romance. There was the excitement and anticipation of the dangerous tornado situations and the rush of will they, won’t they. Finley and Professor West bond over their love of unpredictable weather and their admiration of each other. The story was elevated by the lively and vivacious side character Joey. What an extraordinary romance.
Audiobook review: This is everything I’ve ever wanted from an audiobook. The characters voices were consistent no matter whose POV it was. It’s something I’ve been looking for in audiobooks.
There were entertaining sound effects that immersed you in their situations. This was perfection. Definitely made it a FIVE-star read.

Steamy, cute and storm action packed. I liked that the duel narration also had sound effects, and though the female main character was plus sized, it wasn't her main personality traits, which I find is a misstep authors take with their plus size romance heroines.

There's nothing better than an audiobook duet. None of the strange gender bent dialogue that takes you out of the story. It's so much more engaging when the voices are consistent and recognizable. I was worried the story would just be Twisters (which I love, but we don't need anymore reboots just yet), but it was very independent from that. Great for fans of Twisters without being a copy and paste. Both narrators and their (perfectly casted) narrators were loveable and the plot was both exciting and silly! Sometimes the sound effects can be jarring or feel like you're back in elementary school during story time. These ones weren't! They were well paced and all added something to the story. I am pleasantly surprised and certainly a fan!

Thank you to Kayla Grosse and her team for this ARC.
This was giving us all the 'Twister' vibes in a hot spicy romance book.
This follows Finley Buckley and Professor Ryker West.
Finely is currently getting her degree in Meteorology and Ryker is her very hot professor. She has had a crush on him for years from watching his storm chasing Tempest Trackers videos where he is known as 'Twister Tamer' and spending more time with him in person has deepened that crush.
As soon as Ryker meets Finley he is infatuated with her beauty and brains and finds excuses to spend more time together in an academic setting. Only to remind himself she is his student and relationship between student and professor is strictly forbidden.
A year later he picked her to join him and his team on a Storm Chase to work on a scientific paper together. Soon it is just storms that are brewing in the air - but Lust? Love? But is this relationship doomed to fail while they are professor and student?
This is an age gap, a forbidden romance between professor and student with forced proximity and very spicy!
I loved this book and it had me hooked! This was high stress and an action pack with so much sexual chemistry and PINING.
Another hit from Kayla Grosse! I hope we see more from Joey, Hawk and Ezra.
