Soccer Stars and their Famous Moves! Wonderful peppy style from the author. It is a short read mainly focusing on signature moves from each player. Illustrations help a lot. Great for skill building and inspiration. The Favorite Player bracket chart at the end was a fun addition. Every youth soccer coach should own this and even lend this out to his team, Great little handbook!

This book profiles some top players from international soccer, both men and women. The stories are uplifting and show how the players worked hard or have overcome adversity to get where they are today. The descriptions of the players’ signature moves are fun too, This book is best suited for younger readers (age 10 or below) who are already fans or active players of soccer.

This is a great book for football/soccer fans who want to learn more about their favourite players, along with new ones, and learn how to do some cool soccer tricks! Anderson Carman's illustrations of the "signature skills" are easy to follow, and the players' portraits add more oomph to the text. The facts which we learn about each player give an insight into their life and what led to the player reaching their goals and achieving all that they did in their career. Many instances would relate to the readers and give them a boost about how even legendary players are humans just like themselves.

This is truly "a beautiful sport," and this book will add to your knowledge about its players! As a football fan, I can't wait to share it with my friends!
