This book was upsetting as hell. Kind of all over the place and I didn’t feel any chemistry or tension between the characters. It was very instalove/instalust, which usually isn’t my preference. I don’t really feel as though the relationship really evolved into anything more than a hook up. I was more interested in Maddie and Grayson if I’m being honest. This was a good palette cleanser read though!

Not my favourite of hers by any means but I’ll still read her other works!

Thank you to Netgalley for the arc!

I didn't end up enjoying this book as much as I hoped I would.
I have conflicting feelings toward the MMC and some of his action towards the MFC, who in return I would have loved to see focus a little more on her personal growth and strength.
It was a very insta-love kind of relationship and at times I felt like that trope could have been developed better.
I can see what the idea behind this story and plot was but I overall think it was poorly executed.
Distance was my first book from this author and I think her writing is just not really for me as I found it hard to connect with and struggled to finish it at all.
Even if I am somewhat intrigued about some of the secondary characters in this series I don't think I will be going forward with reading the other books anytime soon.

Keller “the Killer” Russo, world champion in the boxing ring and in the bedroom! Holy bananas this man is HOT HOT HOT! He definitely had me bothered several times while reading this book. This was Luna’s debut novel and while I thought it was a great story, I thought there was some work that could have been done to the last probably 30% of the book to build up more tension, angst, and ultimately made the resolution just that much better. Also, I didn’t know while I was reading if she was UK based or US based since the story was set in the US but you could definitely see some UK mannerisms coming through even in Keller’s POV. As far as the spice goes, Luna has it on point.

We’ve got our beautiful, loving FMC Sienna who has just found her fiancé has cheated on her and after a week of wallowing in her own self pity over the failed relationship, her best friend takes her out for a girls night at the hottest new club in town. While there, she literally falls into the lap of the hottest man she’s ever met and it’s an instant, electrifying connection. What better way to get over a man than under a new one right?

Keller MF Russo is the soon to be undisputed heavy weight boxing campion of the world. He only has one more fight to win to unify his titles and the title is his. He also owns the the club to help his brother, the mafia don, funnel and launder the money through. He’s also his brothers masked right hand hitman in shadows of the night. Which means, when sexy AF Sienna falls into his lap, full of light and electricity, he give her what she deserves because of the world he lives in. But the pull between them is just too much to deny. When the mask is ripped away and she finally knows who he really is, will she still accept him for all of his darkness?

A perfect dark romance. I loved every second. I already picked up the rest of the series on Kindle Unlimited.
