This board book has very sweet, engaging and adorable illustrations. The accompanying text shows all the things that brothers do together including not always getting along (but also learning to say "sorry").
Any home with young brothers in it, might want to add this one to their library.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Familius for this title. All opinions are my own.

Adorable illustrations. It's a realistic view on having siblings. There are ups in these relationships as well as downs, but no matter what, siblings are the best people to have in your life.

This is such a wonderful book filled with easy illustrations. There's a diverse representation, that I really appreciate as a Mom of a little one.
I love that it shows the good things about having a brother, and the challenges that comes with having a brother and how to overcome them. This would make the perfect "sibling" gift for families to help introduce a new baby boy to their toddler boy! I would recommend this board book for kiddos between ages 2-4. It also makes a good book for even older kids learning to read, to read to their younger sibling.
I will definitely be picking this book up for all my family and friends expecting a baby boy into the family!
Thank you Familius, NetGalley and Brooke Jorden for the eARC!

Age: 2-4
No rhythm/rhyming
Easy to read
Rating: 3/5 - this book was fine but isn't one I will add to our personal library
This book is just fine. It's extremely short and has no rhythm or rhyming. It is easy to read with no distracting illustrations. It is in my opinion too short for the subject. I wanted to see a little bit more or have some sort of rhythm/rhyming. I didn't like the bit where brothers fight. I have no doubt that my boys will do that plenty without putting it in a book that I read to them.

Truly beautiful! A nice, short, and sweet book to show a positive setting for brothers. A healthy representation of masculinity and siblinghood. Highly recommend for brothers struggling to get along or even for strong male friendships. Great board book!

This was such a short and sweet collection of the expected behavior of child brothers with a message of positivity and getting along. I would recommend it to children who have brothers, for sure! 7/10
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.

This is a short and easy to understand book about how brothers sometimes play together and sometimes fight with each other, but that they will always be brothers.

Brothers are Brothers Forever was really cute, but it was extremely short. It felt about half the length it should have been. If it had gone into the relationship of Brothers beyond childhood, I think it would have been more effective.

This lovely book simply reminds us that regardless of behavior or hurting words brothers are special. (mother of 5, 4 of whom are boys)
The illustrations by Sejung Kim are imaginative, delightfully colorful, and FUN!
Well suited for reading WITH someone any age young or old, including ESL, and great for gifting to everyone, but especially to a school or your local public library!
I requested and received a temporary uncorrected eGalley on NetGalley Reader from Familius via NetGalley. Pub Date Apr 01, 2025

As a mother of 2 boys this is such a sweet but simplified book that boys and brothers of all ages can enjoy. My oldest would love to read this book to his younger brother!

Adorable short read about brothers! Describes the relationship between siblings simply though short sentences and engaging illustrations! Perfect for a sibling who is about to get a brother or already has one! It would have been nice if it was a little longer though with bigger font!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

Very cute book! I read this to my two young boys and they loved it. The pictures are cute and colorful and the short story is very applicable to their young minds.

Firstly, I'd like to give a huge thanks to the author, Brooke Jorden, the illustrator, Sejung Kim, the publisher, Familius, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Brothers are Brothers Forever! I will share my review to Goodreads, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble upon release.
This super cute board book with soft, watercolor palette illustrations is a lovely story about how brothers will be there through all kinds of times, good and bad, but the important part is coming back together in the end and overcoming, because family can be our biggest support. The cover is cute, with the pairs of brothers from the inside of the book playing and sitting on the letters in the title. Inside, there is a collection of pages that show brothers in various activities, but in the end, the brothers make up and remember that family is forever. This is perfect for toddlers and babies in the beginning stages of reading and learning social skills. This would be a great gift for a child becoming a brother or a new baby with an older brother or brothers.
One thing about the book that stuck out and I felt need to mention - I was thrown off a bit by the way that only two spreads have full backgrounds. I thought the backgrounds were really pretty and brought a lot of color and fun to the book, so I did feel like they were missing from the other pages. Other than that, I loved this book! Very cute.

A very simple, for-sharing styled read, that portrays brothers – they can plan, build and act together, but they can also cuss and fight like there's only one of them seeing tomorrow. But brotherhood remains. It really is that simple, and the art – while being great, and not too simplistic – doesn't really offer much in the way of an extra layer. It's fine, but there are many better things for siblings to bond over. Three and a half stars.

I read this to my two toddler boys this evening at bedtime and it was adorable. It was nice that my boys could see examples of brothers and it was short enough to keep my youngest toddler’s attention. The illustrations were also super cute!

A very cute book for little ones, especially preschoolers. As a mom of two boys, this story feels personal—though my sons aren’t so close in age, they still share many of the same experiences and sibling moments. The book beautifully captures the bond between brothers, their small adventures, and the emotions that come with growing up together.
It’s simple, sweet, and perfect for reading aloud. A great pick for families with siblings!

An adorable book about the power of familial bonds between brothers. The illustrations are fun and inviting - they capture the power of imagination and play.
