I apologize for the extremely late review, life happened. I ended up DNF around the 5% mark. This may have been my mistake as I've never read a LitRPG book before so I didn't know what to expect. I was drawn in by the cover and love anime/manga. lol

Unfortunately, the book read strangely to me and I couldn't get into the story. It was as if I were watching someone else be the character. I think the writing was decent but perhaps the style of writing wasn't for me because I think I like to become the character. I didn't care for the characters, they didn't seem to have enough depth and complexity for me to believe they were real enough for me to care about them. I did enjoy the magic and world that I saw but ultimately I couldn't continue because of the writing style.
