Avery King is sent by her father to Colorado to try and convince a property owner to sell his rundown ranch, so they can purchase it to renovate and make some money. Usually a closer, Avery was surprised by the handsome owner and his unwillingness to sell, despite facing foreclosure.

Bryce Walker is the owner of the ranch who fell on hard times and got behind with his mortgage. He is shocked by the determination of Avery as she attempts to try and talk him into selling what remains of his memories. Bryce wants to get the ranch back up and running, but the lack of income prevents him from doing so.

The more time these two spend with each other, the more they connect. It's up to them to decide which way they go.

I enjoyed Sara Richardson's No Better Man. The first part of the book was a bit slow but it picked up in the second half and that more than made it up. I loved the setting, the characters and their romance. The author did a great job of making me fall in love with the characters.
