There's always a electric plot and flow to storyline set in this time. And this book depics the antics of the time and those living in it well.
1980s is often described as one of vibrancy, change and very often "anything goes" free for all.
The cast of characters we watch here are all coming to terms with something or travelling towards something. Some succeed in navigating the time better than others.
They are also so different but it shows how still,very often we all follow the same thoughts when similar things hit us. We may react differently though depending on just what makes us us and who we have around us at the time.
I do love a book that has a cast of character we are set to learn about. This books was very good at helping you understand the breadth of different people's emotions and actions.
