I was soo excited to receive this email for the book! This has been one of my most anticipated books of the year and I’m sooo thankful that I was given the chance to read it early!! This book was much different than the first one, and I did enjoy the change. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the vibes I got from the book was along the lines of Ready or Not. The romance was as always hitting how it needed to and for the plot I think the ratio of spicy scenes to the Marriage of Convience was just right. I mean these two didn’t know each other and were not super close at the beginning of the book.
I loved this book and I love this series as a whole. I can’t wait to see more from Kaylie Smith in the future!!

An absolute treat of a book, it fed in all the right ways. The pacing, the character development, the spice it was all just perfect

So much fun! I liked this book even more than the first one in the series, Phantasma. Very much enjoyed the family dynamics and the haters to lovers trope here. The magic and world building is thorough without being overwrought, and I honestly devoured it in a couple of days.

Kaylie Smith has done it again! I loved Genevieve & Rowin just as much as Ophelia & Blackwell. You do not have to read Phantasma to enjoy Enchantra, but I would recommend it for the backstory. The games of this book were interesting (I think there are six rounds), and the fact it is like a reality show broadcast through mirrors to the creatures of hell was added even more depth.
I was fascinated by the Silver family and the personalities of all the siblings. I am hoping another Silver is back as the main character of the next book in the series. Genevieve is a spitfire and not afraid to stand up to anyone, even a devil. Her banter and chemistry with Rowin is unmatched, and the spice is high heat (piercings, anyone?). There is a twist at the end that kept me on the edge of my seat until the final pages. While the romance is resolved, the plot to save the Silver’s mother & potential drama with Blackwell leave me with many questions to wait for answering in book three!

Thank you to Forever for providing me with a copy of this book. This review is voluntary, and all opinions expressed are my own.

Argh take me back to Enchantra! I absolutely loved Phantasma, Blackwell and Ophelia were pure angsty magic. But Genevieve and Rowan?! 100/10, all the stars 🤩
Enchantra was filled with amazing (sometimes ruthless) characters, I’m pretty sure I loved every one. The Silver Family absolutely satisfied my found family love whilst providing the tension needed for the games and driving the twists and turns through the story. I actually can’t pick a favourite sibling to be honest. And the familiars? Love love love even if they’d likely hunt me down 😂
Genevieve was an amazing character, filled with trauma and insecurities and incredibly relatable. Choosing to be the centre of her own story really made her come into her own and fight for herself, which I love.
Rowin, Rowin, Rowin, how did you steal my heart and skyrocket above Blackwell?? Probably started with this quote “The light isn’t something you need to chase, Genevieve. The light is wherever you are” The turmoil he went through, the boundaries he’d set for himself being smashed to pieces, ah I loved it all.
I could not recommend this series enough!
Thank you to Forever and Second Sky for sending me an eARC, it was the best surprise.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. I stayed up entirely too late a few nights to read this and I didn’t regret it for a second! I adored the banter and twists, Genevieve and Rowin!! Kaylie Smith is amazing at atmosphere, tension, humor, spice, and just all of it!
The games in Enchantra were all unique and interesting and made me want to reread Phantasma all over again. The Silver family might be my favorite dysfunctional, sassy family. I love and need more!!
I will continue to recommend the Wicked Games series every chance I get!

A fantastic (or should it be Phantastic?) sequel! I was a bit nervous for this one, since in Phantasma I found Genevieve to be a bit selfish and flighty - but getting to be in her perspective got me on her side right away. The last couple chapters set up a clear doorway for more installments in this series that I am desperately hoping for! But who will be the MC? One of the other Silver siblings (my guesses would be Grave, Sevin, or Ellie)? Luci? Perhaps Jasper? Lots of options out there, Either way, I hope it's coming soon!

Enchantra
Enchantra leaves Phantasma’s turn of the century run down Victorian mansion in New Orleans for a remote Italian manor house deep in the country. And it’s Genevieve Grimm’s turn to play a devil’s game. Like her sister Ophelia though, she has tricks up her sleeve and cards to play. Enter Rowin, her grudging partner and mysterious shadow wielding son of the manor’s owner. They must work together for a chance at freedom, even if it’s at the cost of the rest of Rowin’s family. Another magical tale by Kaylie Smith. If Phantasma reminds me of Phantom of the Opera in a bunch of ways, I’d say Enchantra reminds me of Labyrinth. Words can be twisty, and you can never be entirely certain about what’s actually going on, but it’s beautifully romantic all the same. If you enjoyed Phantasma, absolutely read Enchantra, but if you haven’t read it, start there then come here.
Give it a read for:
* Deadly games
* Shadow daddies
* Demons, Devils, & Wraiths
* Animal familiars
* Marriage of convenience
* Family dysfunction…in spades
I will say that there was one plot point introduced that we never get an answer to. It doesn’t impact the progression of the plot, but I do think it was a missed opportunity to give more dimension to a character.
Also a thru line from Phantasma that is touched upon but barely expanded upon that leaves some book one questions still unanswered.
Hoping both of these things come back in book three, but for now, we wait.
Overall, a magical game with astronomical stakes, not for the whole world, but absolutely for our characters. Alice goes down the rabbit hole and lands smack dab in the middle of The Fall of the House of Usher. Be careful of the bargains you strike, and know your enemy.

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for giving me an early copy of this book to read and review. All thoughts are my own.
Kaylie could write down her grocery list and I would pay big bucks to read it.
I thought I was obsessed with Phantasma and Blackwell but NO!! Rowin has me in the kinky chokehold possible. Dare I say this is my favorite read so far in 2025.
The plot was fun and very different from book one. I am inlove with all of the characters. I seriously need a book on each Silver sibling because they are incredible. The spicy was SPICY and I just wanted more.
I 1,000,000 percent recommend this book and also volunteer as tribute to be an early reader for book 3.
5 devilish stars!!!

Kalylie Smith has cast her spell on me the second time around! She wowed me with Phantasma and I continued to be enchanted, enamored, and dazzled by Enchantra! It is gripping, sexy, dark, dangerous, magical, and deadly. I was once again swept away and into the wonderful gothic world that Kaylie Smith has created. I enjoyed her cast of characters, the atmosphere, the setting (mainly in Italy), the danger, and the scent of romance in the air!
Enchantra focuses on Genevieve Grimm who intercepts an invitation meant for her mother and travels to Italy in hopes of attending a gala at a beautiful palace. But this is not Cinderella's story, it's Genevieve's story and it is far from a fairy tale!
She is met by Rowin Silver, a tall, dark, and handsome man who is incredibly rude and warns her to stay away. But she is determined, headstrong, and curious and enters the grand home. Apparently, no one warned Genevieve what curiosity did to the cat! What she finds is a dark family that is caught in a deadly and twisted game. She must play or be trapped there. She and Rowin come up with a plan and an allegiance. Genevieve will soon wonder if their wicked games will be enough to win?
Holy Moly! Fans of Phantasma will love Enchantra as well! As I mentioned it has the same dark, deadly, wicked, twisted, and sexy vibe flowing throughout the book. I was never a big fantasy book reader but there are certain authors who have cast their magical spells on me and Kaylie Smith is one of them!
I enjoyed the banter, the chemistry, the world building, the twists, the tension, the dread, the danger, and the vivid descriptions in this book. I also enjoyed the magical aspect and Genevieve's spunk and courage. Plus, this book ends in a way that in my opinion left room for another book in the series. **wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Fans of fantasy, dark romance, enemies to lovers romance books will fall head over heels for this one. I know I did.
I was lucky enough to have both the kindle and audiobook version of Enchantra!!! Laura Horowitz narrated this book (she narrated Phantasma as well) and did a fabulous job of bringing the characters to life!!
Wonderfully written, dark, sexy, and left me wanting more!!!!

Oh my gosh. Kaylie Smith has done it again! The Wicked Games series is becoming one of my new favorites. I had no idea how she would spin this after the success Phantasma is. Especially with the games aspect. However, Enchantra was everything and more! Vivi went off on her own vacation to Rome, but quickly found herself outside of Enchantra’s gates when crows would not stop croaking at her to go to the estate. Vivi quickly meets Rowin Silver who is mysteriously handsome AND with a lip ring 🤭 Once inside Enchantra, Vivi realizes she can’t leave because of a curse placed on the estate which states any person who steps foot into the home becomes part of The Hunt, a game where you literally get hunted to the death. I loved all of Rowin’s siblings and also how the door is still open for each of their own stories. I wonder who’s next? Maybe Sevin? I can’t wait to find out!
-found family
-marriage of convenience
-paranormal beings
-deadly games
Thank you to netgalley and forever publishing for an e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion!

I loved this book! I read the first book in this series and I was so excited to read the second one, the world is beautifully written and fun to read.

5 ⭐️ An Enchanting, Deadly Masterpiece!
Read: 5 🌟 Forehead kisses to the entire teams at Forever and Second Sky and Kaylie for inviting me to read Enchantra early, I’m in awe of this masterpiece!!
An Enchanting, Deadly Masterpiece!
Kaylie has only gone and done it again, and I’m simply in awe. This was a phenomenal masterpiece, five out of five fucking stars, pleaaase, understand if I could rate this higher, I absolutely would.
I absolutely loved Phantasma, it was one of my favourite reads of 2024, and Kaylie has only done it again with Enchantra; I simply was enchanted! This was uniquely different from Phantasma; from finding her own path, with everything that had happened in Phantasma, to wanting to learn more about the mystery surrounding her late mother, she goes to Enchantra, and meets Rowin, and his family, and thus entering a deadly new game.
Throw in my all time favourite trope; marriage of convenience, but one where Genevieve is trapped in a deadly game with her new husband and her in-laws, who are trying to unalive her.
This was gritty, fast paced; another page turning read that left me holding my breath after each hunt, and the twist towards the end, just wow. I loved it, I loved the appearances of my babies Blackwell and Ophelia!
Rowin, wow, just wow. Here I was salivating over Blackwell, and rightfully so, I always will, but tattooed, pierced and broody, shadow-daddy Rowin has entered the chat, and I love, love that man. Like I’m feral, obsessed and did I mention that he’s pierced, Genevieve, you lucky, lucky woman!
I loved their relationship, even when they were enemies, the angst and slow burn was addictive. I was about bursting at the seams whenever they were verbally sparring, because Genevieve was nobody’s fool. Their tender moments were so precious, and I especially loved when Rowin used his shadows on Genevieve!!
And can we talk about Rowin’s siblings? I’m obsessed with the Silver family, even if they were out to kill Genevieve. I have so many questions, so many theories, and I need more of them. Hopefully, there’s more to come! I need to process the last quarter of the ending, and everything surrounding Salem 🥹
Pre-read: I’m still pinching myself that the publishers sent me an arc of my most anticipated read of 2025 😭😭

This was such a fun sequel. Compared to the first in liked how the plot was more balanced with the spice. The ending was adorably sweet. I did feel like the "dark" aspect was a bit light compared to the first, but thier was more tension and build up with the relationship. I felt that thier was more loose ends at the end of this one which makes me hope the next one with pick up from where we left off.

Thank you for the arc opportunity!! I did enjoy reading this. It was fun to read about vivi and I really liked rowin’s character. Well done!

OH this was good! I was eating up it like no tomorrow. The mmc with tattoos, piercing and banter is crazy good. The chemistry between them was delicious and very intriguing. I have to say Kaylie is writing banger after banger. "marriage" due to fake dating is wild on its own. Touch her and die vibes were 100% Rowin motives. I still cant believe that this little trip of hers turned out to be more than it shouldve been.
Truly a good story to be read here and will be waiting for Kaylies next book!
A huge thanks to netgalley for this ARC.

I’ve been officially enchanted with “Enchantra”! Kaylie Smith has crafted the perfect blend of paranormal horror, enchanting fantasy, and sizzling romance. This book is a dark, delicious treat that kept me hooked from the very first page. I just had so much fun reading this book.
Let's talk about Genevieve. She's an absolute powerhouse. Her tenacity in the face of unimaginable adversity, especially when confronting the sinister force behind Enchantra, is truly inspiring. But she's not just tough; she's also incredibly caring. Smith beautifully balances these qualities, creating a protagonist who feels real and relatable.
And then there's Rowin. fans self Yum. A man who wields shadows for… let's just say, pleasurable purposes? Yes, please, may I have another! The chemistry between Genevieve and Rowin is off the charts. Their connection, despite the short time they've known each other, feels incredibly genuine. I was completely invested in their relationship.
The climax of “Enchantra” delivers on every front. Action? Check. Tension? Absolutely. Romance? In spades. And angst? Prepare to have your heartstrings thoroughly tugged. It's an emotional rollercoaster that culminates in a truly beautiful and satisfying ending. All plot threads are neatly resolved, yet Smith cleverly leaves the door open for future stories in this captivating world.
While I have to admit that “Phantasma” is still my favorite in the series (Blackwell, need I say more?), “Enchantra” is a stunning achievement in its own right. It's a must read for anyone who loves dark fantasy with a side of scorching romance. If you're looking for a book that will leave you breathless and begging for more, look no further.

Thank you to NetGalley and Second Sky Books for the ARC of one of my most anticipated books of 2025!
Phantasma was one of my absolute top reads of 2024, so Enchantra had some big shoes to fill—and I’m so thrilled to say it absolutely delivered!
This time, we dive into Genevieve’s story, and I was completely hooked from the beginning. It was fascinating to see how her personal arc unfolded alongside the enigmatic Silver family. While the book definitely shares the same haunting, gothic atmosphere that I loved in Phantasma, Enchantra still manages to carve out its own space. The themes felt slightly darker, more introspective.
The family dynamics, particularly between the Silver siblings added another layer of tension and intrigue to the story.
The only reason this wasn’t a full five stars for me was the ending—it felt a little rushed and came somewhat out of nowhere. I found myself wishing for a few more chapters to really let the conclusion breathe and settle. That said, it wasn’t a bad ending by any means—it still wrapped things up in a satisfying way, and left just enough threads for me to be curious about what might come next.
Overall, Enchantra is a stunning sequel that will absolutely satisfy fans of Phantasma.

Enchantra follows Genevieve Grimm on her Italian getaway where she tries to find out more information about her family. When she winds up at the estate of a mysterious friend of her late mother, her world turns upside down. Forced to participate in a deadly game, Genevieve finds herself captivated by her loathsome partner and tries to stay alive long enough to win.
If you love the movie Ready or Not like me, then this book is for you!! There are such strong vibes and similar scenes to that movie but with a more dark and magical twist. It was SO fun!! This was a great follow up to Phantasma. The author managed to create such interesting and captivating games that keep you on the edge of your seat. And the ending was so good. I really love how everything tied up and seriously hope there’s a third book!
Genevieve was a great mc, although I think I prefer Ophelia as I found her more relatable. But Genevieve is still so great and I loved how snarky and bold she was. She’s really strong and I loved seeing her hold her own. Rowin was everything!!! Such a swoony and lovely love interest! Their scenes together were so steamy and full of electric chemistry. I also really enjoyed Rowin’s siblings, especially Ellin. Also the familiars!! Such a cute and fun addition to this one.
Overall, if you loved Phantasma or love the movie Ready or Not, you’ll love this one!
Thank you to Second Sky and Netgalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

I am always cautiously optimistic with sequels to books I absolutely adore, but Enchantra did live up to the hype. Although I was not a fan of Genevive in book 1, I think this book was able to capture her in a way that provided much more insight. I enjoyed that this was also another game in the world, showing how expansive the devils networks are really. I would have loved to see Ophelia and Blackwell play more of a role especially among the devils and demons.
The gothic mysterious game play kept me most interested in continuing. Creating it more of within the family helped our side characters be more connected to the storyline than the previous game. I am excited to see more within this world and tying it all together.
When it comes to the love between Genevive and Rowan I thought it was the perfect balance of sass and lust that provided a slow burn within the game, the ending left me heartbroken after seeing how far they came and having to basically start over.
4.5 stars
