This was just as fun as the first. The found family and games were so fun. Umbra was cute. I loved the banter. A little too much spice (I knew this going in though) for my preferences and the end wrapped up quick like the first book but excited for who the next book will be about! I need an Ellin story!

I absolutely loved Phantasma but I think this one was even better! The paranormal isn’t necessarily in your face but the romance is which I love. Vivi is so spunky that I just ate her story up. Rowin was chefs kiss and his siblings were actually comical. I definitely felt the games in this one were even more exciting than the first and I can’t wait for this series to continue!

Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC. Enchantra has been in my top anticipated reads for this year since I LOVED Phantasma.
The second book in the Wicked Games series, Genevieve’s story has quite different vibes to her sister Ophelia’s. Set in the Italian countryside, Vivi finds herself pulled into a family curse that involves deadly games.
The story was easy to read and I got through it quite fast. I enjoyed following Vivi and Rowin’s relationship grow. I did feel a little lost sometimes in the story line and felt the book could have been longer, though I am hoping that this will be addressed in future books (please let there be more!!!)
The paranormal aspect and the world building of this book has me hooked on this series!

Enchantra was more amazing and fantastical than I could have ever dreamed of, I am in awe!
This book has the same gorgeous gothic vibes as Phantasma, but in a new environment with a mysterious and dangerous family, forced to take part in a killing game every year. This year is different, because Genevieve Grimm turns up on their doorstep the first day of Enchantra, their yearly murder competition, and finds herself forcefully drawn into the game and tied to a gorgeous, rude man who she needs to work with to survive. Throw in a marriage of convenience, one bed, and a lot of tension and I had myself a new obsession!!
I am in love with Genevieve and Rowin, their chemistry is top tier and they are both such strong characters on their own as well as together. I was also a huge fan of our new cast of characters, the Silver family were so much fun to get to know, all with their own distinct personalities and sharing a tragic history. We also get to see a little bit of my babies Ophelia and Blackwell which was the cherry on top of a decadent cake! PS. there are animal familiars and this was such a great addition!
I am so looking forward to future novels in this series, I already have my guesses on the name of the next book and who the central character is and if I am correct I am going to scream out of excitement - okay let's be real, I will scream either way because this series is truly phenomenal!!
Thank you to Second Sky and NetGalley for providing me with early access to the book!

WOW! I absolutely devoured this book, I honestly couldn’t put it down. I was gripped from the beginning. Book 2 of the Wicked Games series and I was a little worried it wouldn’t be as good as the first but I was wrong, it was just as amazing, if not better, highly recommend!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

do you ever just sit there after finishing a book just….. in awe? that is me right now after listening to enchantra. this was absolutely incredible. i have a phantasma tattoo and now i need one for enchantra because it’s on the same damn tier. six stars. so passionate and seductive and intense and romantic and just the gothic romantasy of my dreams.
this will live in my head rent free forever because WHAT. kaylie is a witch because I don’t know how else to explain how much I love her writing and how much I want to erase my memory just to be able to listen to this again and again. also, i need to emphasise that my tattoo is a blackwell quote and he may have just been dethroned by rowin. maybe they have one cheek each. i don’t know. my brain is mush and i’m going to go cry in a corner over this book and the things it made me feel.
thank you to second sky for the arc i love you guys this is just. one of the best things i’ve ever read and i absolutely cannot WAIT FOR BOOK THREE i need it now!!!!!!!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND READ PHANTASMA AND ENCHANTRA.

Kaylie...whatever you put into this books, inject it into my veins. Keep them coming. Give me 10 more, I don't care.
This was so entertaining. It felt like I was watching Ready or Not, in the best way possible. Love a good deadly trial!
Vivi...my girl went through Hell (literally) and back. She almost died so many times, I couldn't count them with two hands. Rowin, I want one of him. That's all I need to say.
This universe is just so much fun!! If you ever feel like writing a book about Sevin...just know I won't hesitate to read it. I will inhale that book. Jokes aside, it would be really cool to read about the other types of wraiths/paranormal beings.
Also, I appreciate the Blackwell and Ophelia cameo, I missed them so much!!
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for giving me an arc!

This book was excellent! It was the perfect follow up to Phantasma, and extremely well executed and much more entertaining.

I absolutely adored this book, I believe it’s actually my favourite of the series I cannot cope.
FIRSTLY I NEED A MAN LIKE OUR MAN ROWIN.
The yearning the tension the chemistry between them had me dying.
Also the fact this man gave up his immortality for her I cannot even plz
Some of my fav quotes -
“Im a creature of hell, worshipping is not usually in my nature. But for whatever time you remain in my bed, I will make it your shrine.” When I say I was kicking my feet giggling and dying all at the same time😫
“I am not him. I want to find him and flay all the flesh from his body and set him on fire what he did to you. Don’t ever compare me to you.”
“I was not made for you, she repeated thought it was much less convincing this time. Then maybe I was made for you”.
“Shadows can only be seen in the presence of light, I worry when you leave there will be no one left to see me.” - oh my baby plz🥺🥺🥺🥺
If I could give this a 6 star I would! I am gonna be re reading this so soon as I think this is my favourite read of the year🙂↔️
Thanks NetGalley for making my year and sending me this ARC early💗

ENCHANTRA….holy moly. Rowington Silver might be one of my all time favorite book boyfriends after this read.
I absolutely loved this follow up to Kaylie’s first book Phantasma. This book had all the twists and turns to keep you on your toes. Genevieve was also an amazing character. I loved her spiciness and her overall honesty throughout the entire book. There was so much depth in this book with family but also some really good world building that I hope Kaylie and her team will build off of after this.
This book was fantastic enough said so immediately add this to your TBR or request.
Thank you so much to Read Forever and NetGalley for the amazing book. This one will definitely take me a bit to get over.

ARC and ALC review
4,5 stars
“Enchantra” by Kaylie Smith is the second book in the “Wicked Games” series.
I received and ARC from Second Sky/Forever and an ALC from Bookouture Audio via Netgalley. Opinions from this review are completely my own.
After reading and loving Phantasma, I was looking forward to Genevieve’s story. She is a strong and confident character with a sad past.
We only have her POV, so we learn about the other characters, including Rowin, from her interactions with them. Still, the characters are well developed and the mystery is a bonus. The story is told in 3rd person, but in this case it did not bother me at all as the writing is good.
Also, I listened to the audiobook while reading and it helped me immerse in the story completely.
Same as Phantasma, the book is narrated by the amazing Laura Horowitz. This is a solo narration, but she does both male and female voices very good. Also, the audiobook increases the feelings of suspense and fear in some cases. It was a nice experience.
This book had a lot of things that kept me entertained and I finished it in 2 days.
The action takes place in a cursed palace in Italy, the characters are immortal beings with magic powers, there is a competition run by a devil and a marriage of convenience. The pace of the story is medium to fast and there are a few twists.
We also have the romance part, with a lot of tension, a morally gray wraith with tattoos and many piercings and forced proximity.
I’m looking forward to a new book in this series.

Enchantra is an intoxicating blend of deadly intrigue, forbidden romance, and a game where the price of losing is death. This is the second book in the Wicked Game series. This time, we follow Genevieve Grimm, Ophelia's sister, who has disappeared. Genevieve Grimm is determined, clever, and unwilling to back down. When her mother's death leaves her searching for answers, she finds herself at the gates of Enchantra, a cursed palace.
From the moment Genevieve forces her way inside, the story twists into a deadly game of deception, power, survival, and spice...plenty of spice. The palace is a labyrinth of illusions and secrets, where Rowin's family is forever trapped in a brutal contest. Rowin is everything you want in a MMC. With no choice but to play, Genevieve strikes a deal with Rowin and pretends to be madly in love to outwit their enemies.
The romance sizzles with slow-burn intensity, sharp banter, and the delicious torment of longing. Genevieve knows she can't trust Rowin, but their forced alliance keeps pushing them closer. The chemistry is electric, the stakes are high, and every story twist has you guessing what will happen next. With gorgeous writing and a gothic atmosphere, the book will grip you and never let you go. Enchantra is a must-read for all fans of delicious dark romance.
Thank you, NetGalley and Second Sky, Forever, for the opportunity to review and provide my honest feedback.

I finished this book in one sitting. The forced proximity was amazing. It was perfectly spicy, intense, dark, and the magic was really well written. Loved everything about it!
I will read book 3 the moment it hits the shelves, mark my words.

I really enjoyed this follow up to Phantasma! I found Enchantra was less spooky/haunted house than Phantasma was. This one was more just a really high stakes game of hide and seek but the characters were fantastic, the magic was stunning and I loved the relationships between everyone. I'm excited to see what Kaylie Smith does next!

Kaylie Smith does it yet again…
This had me enchanted from the first few chapters, a very good storyline and after reading Phantasma not long ago I was already so invested into seeing what happens with Genevieve.
I absolutely love a strong and confident FMC who can own who she is and this gave exactly those vibes. The main MMC was literally the definition of a book boyfriend with touch her and die vibes. The spice was SPICINGGGG in all the right ways🌶️
Overall I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good spicy fantasy romance with paranormal aspects.
💀Touch her and die
💙Marriage of convenience
💀Fake dating
💙Shadow x sunshine
💀Deadly games

I am literally REELING after finishing this book. OH MY GOD.... SHE'S OUTDONE HERSELF. This novel brought out all the feels! and the twist???? IMPECCABLE!!!!

“Shadows can only be seen in the presence of light. I worry when you leave, there will be no one left to see me.”
Another incredible book by Kaylie Smith!! I swear her books have crack in them because I am obsessed (Ive never tried crack but you get the idea 😂). The vibes in this book were immaculate, it has been one of my favorite things about this author’s writing so far! For someone who cannot picture things in their mind, she really has a way of bringing the setting to life regardless. The game scenes were ruthless and so fun to read!
The characters in this story were fantastic and the banter between the siblings was spot on, I loved every second of their bickering and playfulness. and of course, the fmc and mmc were flawless. Loved them, their personalities and their growth. and I looove a fake dating trope 🤪 overall, this was such a fun read and Kaylie is no doubt an instant buy author for me - so talented!

🗣️🗣️🗣️"that's my wife"
Genevieve Grimm has felt alone and adrift ever since her sister became the head of the family. So when a mysterious friend of their mother's invites her to Italy, she accepts without hesitation. She arrives in the middle of nowhere and finds a hidden palace in Tusscony
The owner's handsome son (Rowin), to slam the door in her face demanding her to leave and not return. But Genevieve follows nobody's orders. She slips inside and ends up being ensnared in the Hunt.
Rowin's dysfunction family are cursed and are stuck in the loop of playing the eternal game of the Hunt.
Which is a survivor like TV show for the lower species of hell betting on who will win. One winner is granted freedom and the rest will be trapped in Hell... until the competition begins again. However only family members can play, Genevieve must marry into the family to survive.
This book was everything I was hoping for it to be. High stakes, banter and smoldering scenes.
Genevieve is a larger than life character who is charming and headstrong. No to mention she's a fighter but also has her flaws.
Her hot hubby is a shadow daddy with piercings (Several), who is displeased with being bitten... But will stop at nothing to protect her from those who hurt her.
This books has all the best tropes:
💜Arranged marriage
💜That's my wife
💜Deadly games
💜Forced proximity
💜Enemies to lovers
💜Touch her and you die
💜Fake dating
While this is the second book in wicked games it could also be read as a standalone.
Definitely for those who enjoy deadly trials, paranormal fantasy and romance.

I was so excited for this book after devouring Phantasma. I finished Phantasma in the span of a few hours, and I read Enchantra just as quickly! For me, Phantasma felt a bit more gothic, a bit more horror - like Caraval meets An American Horror Story. Genevieve’s story in Enchantra felt a bit more like pastel goth - it didn’t have the same bite. I still enjoyed the book, but the story was not quite as compelling as the first installment in the series. I wanted more build from the enemies to lovers, and the villain didn’t have quite the same stakes for me. Overall, the stakes felt higher in Phantasma - leaving the challenge aspects of Enchantra lacking. I loved Genevieve’s spitfire personality and I loved seeing the different siblings and their familiars. Rowin hits all of my shadow daddy favorites - and I like him more than Blackwell to be honest. I would die for Umbra and was more worried for her than any person. I love the world building that Kaylie Smith does and I want to see more. I am hoping for another book in the series to round it out and hope that this just had the second book lull. There are definitely some ways to continue this series and I am super excited to see what Kaylie Smith comes up with next! Thank you so much to NetGalley and Second Sky for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book! This review is my own opinion and thoughts - and I can’t wait to see what y’all think of it too!
