loved this book, takes me right back to the first time I ever watched Star Trek, as this was the first episode I watched.
Heartbreaking novelisation really well done.
It was interesting to see the original story the way Harlan Ellison intended it. There were more layers to this than there were on the episode as aired. The artwork was fascinating.. I deeply enjoyed this book.
A graphic novel retelling of Harlan Ellison's original screenplay for the classic City on the Edge of Forever episode, this is kind of a parallel universe version of the story, that remains quite close to the original while going off on some different tangents. I was quite excited for this but found myself disappointed - the artwork, while beautiful, was not particularly easy to follow, and I didn't find the differences brought enough to make the exercice worth while. Still, an interesting graphic novel.
