The Wooden Sea (or maybe C?) is a twisty look at identity and purpose, as people are thrown around in time by beings anxiously awaiting Earth to complete its 5 tasks in a universally coordinated project set in place before time itself. The absurdity and descriptions are entertaining even as (or because) they spin you in circles and send you running wherever you're pointed.
