A love story that unfolds amidst a wagon train? Sign me up! Shirley Kennedy penned a tale of aching romance and adventure set amidst the rugged country of Tennessee. Luke is my kind of hero and the heartbreaking way in which the heroine finds herself opening to love is movingly rendered.
