3.5 rating: I really like the concept of the book. The animals were unique and the illustrations were fantastic. I also liked that the author wrote what the animals might sound like in the wild. The reason for the 3.5 is because the hidden animal part was very repetitive. Plus, it wasn't much of a challenge to find the animals which made my child bored fairly quickly.

My 2.5 year old has recently learned the ABC song and sings it all of the time. She was incredibly excited that this book not only focused on animals and had me making animal sounds for her throughout, but also that it was the alphabet. The illustrations were cute, and the story was quick and fun as I’d expect for an alphabet book! Great for ages 2-3 years old!

This is an adorable way to learn the alphabet and also teach kids about some of the various animal that live in their country. Cute illustrations as well.

Enchanting and delightful! Beautiful, detailed illustrations with a full page for each animal, and then a second page for you to find the animal in its natural habitat. The sound of each one is spelled out for readers young and old to pronounce. The best part is the end when all the animals are hiding.

Loved this cute ABC book! The illustrations are gorgeous. I particularly liked that it had a bit more content than a typical ABC book! Rather than just an animal for each letter, there is a second page with more content about the animal which I really enjoyed!

This American specific animal alphabet book is a great way to learn more about the animal in the USA and the letters of the alphabet! Some of the items are narrowed down to be extra specific, like the Iowa Barn Owl. I'm not sure if there is a different state barn owl, but the uniqueness of each animal makes a great learning tool! The graphics are wonderful!
