The Memory Painter gave me fits and starts. The story was quite compelling, but the writing was a little uneven, which certainly could have been because this was in ARC form. Despite this, I was captivated by the concept of painting memories, and found the story fascinating. I think we will see great things from this author that will put her work on par with M.J. Rose and Kate Mosse. Recommended.

Terrific debut - I was really impressed by this book. Great characters and complex plot. The flashbacks were wonderful.
