I really liked the story line of this book. It definitely grabbed my attention and held it. I like most of the characters, (there were not a lot) One of them though, was just awful and triggered me a bit. That’s on me, it often happens when I read bout misogyny. I’m very lucky to have most of the men in my life just the opposite. The main character and narrator, Aria, is very likable, but you do want to scream at her a lot of the time! (That’s not a negative, it’s actually really helpful for me doing that) overall, it’s a good book, and I will look into reading more by the author soon.

This story follows Aria West, who has retrograde amnesia after a car accident two years ago, and her husband Austin. Aria is doing her best to regain her memory and work on her marriage post-accident, but discovers her marriage may not be what it seems.
Overall, I enjoyed this story! It was a solid mystery/thriller that drew me in and kept me interested throughout the story. I liked Aria, and found myself relating to her pain and confusion around her accident and her marriage.
I would say that I guessed the antagonist pretty quickly - I'm not sure if that was the author's intent, but if there had been some kind of twist, it would have been a more exciting read.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Thriller readers, listen up! There’s an upcoming book that you won’t want to skip! I Remember You by Theo Baxter was a page turner!

Interesting read I enjoyed this book. Aria was on an interesting journey and I liked following her through her thoughts and twists. I look forward to reading other books from this author.

A quick read for me.
You can't go wrong with anything written by Theo Baxter.
A suspenseful and dramatic storyline with well written characters.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

This book grabbed my attention from the very first page all the way to the end. This story is told from the perspective of Aria and makes you question throughout the whole story whether Austin is truly who he says he is or if he’s hiding something sinister from her. I really liked how the author wrote the story in a way that made the reader know only the same information that Aria knew. The last 25% was my favorite part of the story. It had my heart racing and was full of shocking revelations and suspense. I’m very satisfied with the ending and am glad with how Arias life turned out.
My thoughts on the characters:
-Austin is a horrible and disgusting character. It’s surprising he went so long hiding what he was hiding.
-Aria went through so much and lost a great chunk of her life. Her determination to find out the truth was what I admire most about her. I really liked her character.
-Max is a great character. I can’t say any more of my option on him without giving away in spoilers.
Trigger warning:
SA of main character
Abuse towards main character
Thank you so much to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I Remember You is a book that I couldn’t put down. This book grabbed my attention at the very first chapter and didn’t let go. A few twists that had me shocked. Theo Baxter did a fantastic job! At no point in this book did I get bored or think that the author was being too breathy. Gripped from the beginning to the end.
Thank you NetGalley for giving me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Two years ago Aria woke up in the hospital, a head injury having caused her to forget everything prior to that day. Since then, Aria has been living a peaceful life as a sculptor in a remote cabin with her husband Austin. But Aria keeps having the same recurring nightmare from the night of her accident. The more she tries to remember her life before, the more upset Austin gets. What is he trying to hide?
If you enjoy a good domestic thriller with anxiety inducing build up, you’re in for a treat. This book got me from the first page and I couldn’t put it down. It felt very much like a play, with only a couple of settings and a handful of characters, which reinforced how alone Aria was trying to navigate her post trauma life. Yet her character, empathy, and the strength she found through her art gave her the determination to power through and push forward to get to the truth of who she is. I absolutely loved this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

3.50/3.75 stars
Aria is recovering from amnesia from an accident with her husband. She decides to go to therapy to help recover her memories, even though her husband doesn't want to. The more she goes to therapy the more abusive her husband becomes . Things start to not add up and she may be in danger.
I enjoyed this book but was waiting for an extra twist at the end I was sure coming. This is my first book by this author and I would definitely read another

A thriller which keeps the readers going with its twists, suspense, plot and the characters. The book will make you think you know the answer but do you really ?? I absolutely loved this book. Well written and beautifully executed.

Loved it, couldn't put it down and read it in just a couple of hours. Loved the story, the pacing was perfect and the twists kept me guessing

I had the amazing opportunity to eARC read "I remember you" by Theo Baxter. This book will be published on the 30th of March this year. It's the second book I've read by this author.
This book is categorized in the following genres: mysteries and thrillers and general fiction.
With the title being "I remember you" I kind of expected it to be a cheesy romance thriller but to my surprise it wasn't. Let's dive in.
We're following Aria West, a married artist who lives in a secluded bit of forest in a cabin with a controlling, mentally abusive husband. His ideology of marriage and having a wife is very non feminist. A wife needs to tend to the husbands every need, meals have to be ready at set times, the house needs to be cleaned. And God forbid the world doesn't revolve around your husband. After her accident two years ago Aria is suffering from retrograde amnesia, she doesn't remember anything before waking up at the hospital. Austin, her husband was by her side and nurtured her back to health, but something wasn't quite right..
They had been married for eight years, at least that's what he says. He suffers from agoraphobia, which means they almost never leave the cabin. Everytime she does leave for a meeting with her agent or go grocery shopping, her husband will call to ask why she's taking so long. He'll continuously accuse her of cheating, going so far that he will rage when she returns from a trip.
After having enough of her nightmares and not remembering anything about her live prior to her accident.. She stumbled upon an article about hypnosis and a therapist who specialises in this that isn't to far from her home. She goes regularly and that opens her eyes to how dangerous and controlling her husband is. After a couple of things come to light, she hires a PI.. that's when the story takes a turn and it gets more thrilling. What actually happened to Aria? Was the accident really that? Who even is Austin really?
Read this book to find out!

I remember you follows Aria who suffersfrom ammesia after a bad car accident. She lives in a remote cabin with her husband Austin. Aria starts suffering from vivid nightmares about her accident and soon starts wondering whether Austin is hiding something from her...
This is my first book by Theo Baxter and wow it won't be the last!!! This is a page-turner, recommended!

The perfect life…Or the perfect lie? Two years ago, Aria West woke up in hospital with a severe head injury and no recollection of her previous life. Now, she’s a successful sculptor, living in a remote cabin in upstate New York with her husband, Austin. Despite everything that’s happened, she’s living a good life. A peaceful life. Except for the recurring nightmares terrifying fragments of the trauma that led to her memory loss. Fragments that do not match Austin’s account of that fateful day! Wow! What a chilling thriller! This book had some serious gaslighting! It had good suspense, mystery, murder, And a few crazy twists! The storyline was very interesting! I highly recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and Joffe books for sharing this book with me!

This was my first book by Theo Baxter, and I absolutely don’t regret reading it. The story grips you from the very first pages—it’s hard to put down. There are no long-winded descriptions; instead, the author unravels the story layer by layer.
The MMC has been living what seems like a peaceful life with her husband for two years after losing her memory. But she’s haunted by nightmares, and over time, she starts having more questions than answers about her past. Through therapy and hypnosis, she recalls fragments of her previous life and slowly begins to uncover her husband’s secrets.
I highly recommend this book!

Another good book by theo Baxter that will keep you reading with suspense. Aria has been slowly healing from a accident that caused her to have amnesia and her husband austin has been taking care of her. Austin has his own issues with mental health and agoraphobia and depression. When aria begins hypnotherapy with Dr. Max things come to light and she starts to wonder about her marriage.
Lots of suspense and an interesting twist I found this book to be really entertaining with a great ending.

Oh get ready to not put this book down! I was just shocked at the ending of this book. I loved how suspensful it was throughout the entire book. Wonderfully done!
