Light, cute premise. Easy to like & follow characters - while not life-altering, who always needs that - escapes are a good thing sometimes. I liked it, it was an overall enjoyable read! Thanks to the publisher & Netgalley For the ARC opportunity!

I picked up this book again so that I could finally review it for Netgalley and it really made me realise how I needed to read about someone else's life falling apart (someone fictional, I wouldn't wish this on anyone!) to realise that this kind of stuff happens and it eventually all passes -- even a pandemic. A republish should be considered :)

This book was entertaining and well written. It features a mystery plus a love story, which is an interesting combination. I liked the characters and the story was good enough to make me finish the book but I didn't quite love it. It was just ok.
