Butler’s Lives of the Saints with daily reflections is such a vast source of information and inspiration. There are many daily guides to choose from, but what I loved about this one is the variety and inclusion of saints I have never heard of or learned about. It does follow the church calendar so you can rest in the consistency. The entries are easy to follow along and include a reflection for making the reading more applicable and personal to your own life. There’s much of the year left to go, but what I have read so far has encouraged me to keep going. It has become part of my daily reading plan and I love having each new day to look forward to learning about a new historical figure who lived and died for the faith.
