This book truly felt like going on a very chaotic road trip with friends (where you did not have to worry about car trouble or running out of gas) and I loved every second of it.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Quinn is such a vulnerable little hedgehog of a woman, and I adore her. She’s been manipulated and taken advantage of all her life, and her desperate attempts to both course-correct and find some semblance of security have isolated her from nearly everyone who has her best interests at heart.
The connection between MLMs and the fitness/social media/brand culture was so excellently woven. So too was Quinn’s initial inability to see it, and then her denial once she realized she had stumbled into the same sort of trap she’d been running from.
Nate was so, so patient with her. Exactly what she needed him to be - even if sometimes what she needed hurt. He was vulnerable and kind and cautious, and I actually LOVED having a MMC who was earnest and soft in contrast to the FMC being bold and intense and forward. Their contrast made them genuine even when they were strained - they brought out their opposites and helped balance each other out. Nate was the perfect antidote to Quinn’s enforced toxic positivity, and Quinn pushed Nate to see his own self worth the way everyone else did.
And the friendships!!!! Nate pursuing Logan across the country. Quinn realizing and embracing the force with which she loved her friends. The way they were always there for each other when they called, no matter the time or distance between them. Quinn making new friends everywhere she went in spite of feeling that she’d never been able to. Nate standing back to let her realize that she could. The emphasis on the importance of platonic love and self-love was really the bow that tied this all together.

“Jamie Harrow has done it again. Having been such a fan of One on One, I was so excited to get an ARC of this book. I loved this contemporary romance telling the story of Quinn & Nate who were friends, turned almost lovers, estranged, and then stuck on a coast to coast roadtrip. Quinn is a high energy cycle instructor and Nate is our broody guy. Their adventure across the country is fun, heart wrenching, beautiful, and exciting! Quinn’s character has such a journey of self discovery and the character is so well developed and progressed beautifully throughout the plot! Nate has such imposter syndrome and it is so relatable to the reader. I didn’t want to book to end! I highly recommend. I can’t wait to see what Jamie Harrow does next! Definitely becoming and auto-buy author for this reader! 🩷”
This is written in Goodreads but it will not allow me to publish my review yet - keeps telling me too early. Going to see what the barrier is and will also get this posted to Amazon. Bravo on this book!

This was well done and the romance between the characters was sweet. I liked how it was a unique concept too. I would recommend.
