This was a cross between The Great Gatsby, Crazy Rich Asians, The Wolf of Wallstreet & The Hangover. Needless to say there was a lot going on. It’s based on a true story. I recognized some of the names dropped. I don’t recall hearing this story in the media. Jho Low just spent all his time swindling people and partying to make it look like he had money he didn’t have. Not quite as hard core The Wolf of Wallstreet but the deceit level is up there. This is all those books aforementioned but somehow doesn’t quite live up to them.

This sounds like such an interesting summary that would be great to read! Currently available as an audiobook via NetGalley.

This was a wild ride based on money and partying. It's amazing to hear all the names that are part of this book. I don't remember any of the headlines. I will be looking into it because this was very interesting.

I didn't like the way the story was being told and couldn't get into the voice of the audio book. Interesting story just not how I wanted the fact to be done to fully enjoy it
