A very good mystery and thriller. Medina writes very well, and her characters are well-drawn and engaging.
A thoughtful examination of the history of Cambodia, too.
Definitely recommended.

Brilliant debut from a fresh new voice in crime writing. Medina's combines an exotic setting and broader issues of social justice with a page-turning tale that pins you to your seat. An excellent debut that has me wanting to read more of this author.
