My Husband's Mistress is my first read by Willow Rose and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Packed with family drama and lots of action, it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Detective Darcey White is the lead detective on a recent murder case. When she arrives at the scene, she recognizes the victim's widow as her husband's mistress. Not sure what the two of them are playing at, she holds her cards close as she continues the investigation. What ensues is a delicious cat and mouse game, but who is chasing who?

This was such a fun, twisty read full of surprises. I found all the characters to be devious and narcissistic which added to the thrill. The chapters are short and quick and it's told through multiple perspectives. This is a must read for suspense lovers.

This is one of those books that keeps you so captivated because the author makes sure you question everything and everybody! Is Charlotte a victim ? Did she murder her husband? Did Bradley in a rage murder his mistress Charlotte 's husband? Caught up in figuring this out is Darcy the wife and Detective on this case. You will be flipping thru the pages to find out!! Really good book. It was easy read and definitely kept me on my toes questioning everything! Great book!

This book had me hooked from the start. I absolutely loved the suspense and unexpected twists. The author's writing was phenomenal and easy to keep reading. I am so happy that I got the chance to enjoy this thrilling novel!

Awww I wanted to love this book as I adore the Billie Ann series but I sadly found this one is boring. I felt no connection to the characters. It's poor me. Dracey should have told her LT that she knew the victim's wife because her husband had an affair. I wanted to love this book, to read it to the end but I couldn't.

I was intrigued from the first page and didn't see the plot twist coming at all. Suspenseful and thrilling!

Wow that was a wild one. I had a feeling about some of the stuff as it just didn't add up. However I never realized exactly how everything happened until it was stated in the book. This story was amazing I loved every minute of it. The mystery thriller was definitely there and I loved the ending and how it all turned out.

When I requested My Husband's Mistress, I wasn't expecting to like it so much. I don't usually read "detective thrillers" so I didn't know what to expect. I absolutely loved the chatacter of DC Darcy White! the story reminded me a lot of a good, classic thriller. I'd love to read more from this author based on this novel. Outstanding writing.

This is an exciting and engaging read and even though this genre is common the author has put an intriguing and different take. It plays out like real life and I loved this..

The characters are amazing, the plot is deep and a lttle dark and the writing is descriptive..

I loved this book. It was twisty and even though I thought I figured out the ending, I had only half figured it out so there was still a twist mixed in with what I though was going to happen.

I want to give a big shout-out to the author for crafting such an intriguing novel. The plot is well-structured and truly unpredictable, which I always appreciate in a story.

However, a few aspects made me think, "This might not be for me." One of the main issues was the unnecessary descriptive texts, especially at the novel's beginning. It's too long and doesn't hold my attention, and I struggled to stay engaged. Unfortunately, I ended up skimming a lot just to push through.
Another point is that despite this having a good plot, the thrill was somewhat deflated, especially at the end. I reckon it would be great if they added little details and descriptions of the time of the last arrest in the hotel instead of the beginning. It would give the reader the suspense they needed.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the good ride. The plot and twists somehow gave me the "oh" and "ah" reactions. It's definitely a ride worth taking, especially for those who appreciate slow-burning novels. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good plot, even if the pacing takes a while to pick up.

I adored this book so much! I didn’t want it to end!

This is the first book iv read by this author, but it won’t be the last. It kept me gripped and reading until late because I just had to know how it ended. Fast paced & thrilling, everything I love about a thriller book.

I haven’t rated many books 5 ✨ this year yet but this is definitely a 5✨ for me!

This book is a show stopper - one I would give to my friends. I would buy multiple copies of this book for people! After reading plenty of thrillers it takes a lot these days for me to not work out the ending but this one totally got me. Overall really clever, well written and one I will be recommending.

My Husband's Mistress is a psychological thriller(?) with many twists and turns and great ideas throughout the novel. Plotwise this was great, but stylistically, it was lacking the slickness and tight dialogue needed to push this book to the next level. It was still an enjoyable read though.

Darcey is a cop who knows her husband is having an affair with Charlotte. Charlottes husband is killed and she names Darceys husband as the killer. I felt the book was kind of slow and turned to the end to just see what happened. The ending was a little shocking.

I enjoyed reading this book especially the short chapters. I look forward to reading more of this authors books. My hope that this part of series of books to come.

A great thriller which asks the question what would you do if your husband was a murderer? This is what happens when Detective Darcy is called to the murder of a rich husband and his wife confides in her that the murderer in the man she is having an affair with and when she says the name of Darcy’s husband her whole world is turned upside down. As Darcy tries to get to the truth and ensure that the correct person is punished for the crime her whole world is being turned upside down and she’s struggling to stay sane and sober and as things take an even darker turn will she get to the bottom of the story without loosing everything. There is a great twist with this one and it’s not to be missed.
