This picture book is full of puns. While it has a great message that families can adapt to a situation that was not planned, for the most part it just has fun with word play. This would be a fun Halloween read.

A cute book about a zombie, Stompie, who is excited for a family reunion, but breaks a bone on the way there. Stompie is sad that he won’t be able to go, but his family surprises him by coming to him to celebrate. This was cute and full of fun puns! This would be a fun Halloween book for kids.
