This is my review about this book. At first, I couldn't understand anything. Like everything was confusing but it still got my attention. The first scene was just heartbreaking. The characters were fine, and I was expecting little development between the leads. The storyline was quiet good. I enjoy it but the ending... It wasn't bad but either good. Maybe I expected another ending. The writing was overall good. If you love small town trope with cozy vibes, this is for you.

I loved this. I’m not afraid to say, I do love a bit of spice and a while this is a clean, cosy, small town romance, I ate it up. This is a great little spring/summer read

Overall, I really enjoyed this one! It’s a cozy romance with likable characters and all the small-town charm. If you’re in the mood for a short and heartwarming love story, this one’s definitely worth the read!

The Only Right Thing
by Ellie Sabine
In this captivating book, the author skillfully reveals Dani's complex past through a series of heartfelt love letters she encounters, illuminating the years that have slipped away from her memory. Despite its brief length, the story delivers an emotional experience, brimming with drama, suspense, and richly developed characters. The story kicks off with an intense burst of drama that left me eagerly guessing about its unfolding path. Overall, I found great enjoyment in this book, although I did encounter some moments, particularly at the beginning, that left me feeling a bit disoriented.

The Only Right Thing is a cozy, clean second-chance romance that delivers the right blend of slow burn, "forbidden love", and self-discovery. Though it’s a shorter read, it still packs an emotional punch.
I loved how the story unfolded between Danni and Heath! There’s just the right amount of suspense and angst to keep the pages turning. Their chemistry and shared history give the story real depth, and watching them reconnect felt both heartwarming and authentic.
Because of how short the book is, I don’t want to spoil too much, but it’s a perfect quick read when you need a cozy, heartfelt palate cleanser. If you love emotional, character-driven romances that stay clean but still tug on your heartstrings, this one’s for you!

This was a simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking story. I was confused for the first 30% of the book (which was a lot considering it’s only 200 pages). I didn’t feel a strong connection to the characters, but their story was heartfelt and evoked a lot of emotion. The end of the book felt like what could have been the beginning of so much more; I wish it would have been longer to further develop the relationship between the two main characters. Overall, I liked the premise but I felt unsatisfied by the ending and didn’t love the writing throughout.

This was. Fun quick read. The romance was sweet and the plot was well spaced for a short book. And the setting is perfect for the spring time.

For a relatively short book this managed to hold alot of heartwarming scenes and good plot points. Our fmc and mmc were both complex yet had so much kindness in them. I liked how they were together. It felt real if a little fractured.i liked the authors use of letter throughout to tell a story we were all waiting to unfold. They had a past heartbreak together but then don't have a choice bit to spend more time together in the now..after an accident causes new bonds and possibly new memories to grow. Can they become what they were? Or maybe becoming something new will be more beautiful?

When runaway bride Dani runs back to her happy place at her grandfather’s place, she is filled with guilt. It’s the middle of a hurricane, and when Heath rescues her and takes her to his house to recover, she has no memory of ever having met him.
The author uses a technique of informing the reader of Dani’s story through a series of letters from an unknown author to an unknown recipient. It’s a good method and I found it to be helpful. This was a fast read, second chance clean romance, I believe that the scene has been set for another book set in the same location, so I will watch for it.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

An interesting read, but it felt chaotic and it was hard for me to get invested in the story a characters. Overall good writing, it just felt kind of rushed and confusing for me.

A cosy romance with all the right vibes, great characters and a good plot. I just felt it was too short, would love to have seen more developments.

This book follows Danni, our FMC and Bear, our MMC during a Hurricane. This book started with absolute CHAOS in the beginning and I had no idea where this story was going, but like magic it all came together! Stranded at Bears home, Danni works through the foggy memories to sort of get her life back on track after an accident that left her with a TBI. We learn, through love letters, what her life was like before. My only complaint, is that I would have liked to have known more about Danni's mother. Overall, a nice closed door romance book to read! Thank you #NetGalley and #VictoryEditing for giving me a copy of #TheOnlyRightThing to read early!

Overall I enjoyed this book. It was a cosy romance and the characters were likeable. It was a really short read and it gave off more of a novella feel. I’d have liked the story to have been a bit more detailed or thought out in parts as it moved a bit too quickly in places for me. Worth a read if you like a short, small town romance.

This was beautifully written right from the start, it kept me hooked and as the story unfolded I found myself more in love with the characters and wishing the story didn't end.

No sé cómo Heath logró perdonar a esa señora.
Los capítulos de las cartas fueron un golpe al corazón, eran tan lindas y al mismo tiempo tan tristes. 💔❤️
