Thank you, NetGalley, for an e-ARC of Lidia's The Art of Pasta by Lidia Matticchio Bastianich.
Having just returned from a trip to Italy, this cookbook was everything that made that trip a culinary delight. I relived my trip through Lidia's pasta and accompanying sauces. Beautiful illustrations, photos showing techniques, and insight into regions and cuisine complete this book. I'm not sure how many Italian cookbooks one needs, but I think adding this one will make my collection complete.

An informative read that provides lots of meal options. I’d say that is nothing crown framing although enjoyable to look at it. I’m not sure I’d make any of the recipes

This is a great an informative book with great recipes and also a bit of history and culture throughout, which I really appreciated. I thought the layout was nice, the pictures all looked amazing, and the recipes were very straightforward. I think the glossary of pasta types in the back was a great addition. Overall, a great cookbook dedicated to many different pasta recipes!

As an already well-established cookbook author and iconic Italian chef, Lidia's The Art of Pasta does not disappoint. It's nice to have a book dedicated to just pasta dishes, as there are so many recipes and variations within Italian cuisine. I also appreciate the fact that many of these dishes can either be made with store-bought pasta or freshly made pasta (which there is a section on, if you'd like to venture into pasta-making).
