This was a clean, enjoyable romance. It was a great afternoon escape
Many thanks to Harvest House Publishers and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
Enjoyed this book and the christian writing. Will read more by this author in the future. I need to find the third book in the series.
I swear I heard music as I read this book. You know, like one of those western movies made in the 70s with beautiful characters, lots of action and comedy thrown in. A bit cheesy, but a really good story – very entertaining!

A beautiful yet naive con girl and a stoic Crow Indian man are trying to fight for a good cause. Funny read for a evening of leisure.
Second in the series "Sisters of Mercy Flats", but can be read as a standalone novel.
Anne-Marie McDougal and her sisters are attacked by the Comanche warriors and every one of them is saved by a different man. Anne-Marie, still in a nun's clothing, finds herself rescued by an Indian man - and as improbable as it is, the sparks are not far away. More often than most they are the sparks of fury, as hotheaded Anne-Marie and rational Creed Walker have different ideas of what should be done - first in their runaway from the sheriff's hands, then for a more noble cause of hiding the gold for the Northern cause in the Civil War.
This is nice, unassuming read. Anne-Marie's antics are quite humorous (if silly) and Creed is ruggedly handsome and interesting to be worth of spending a nice evening with them. Their adventures are cozy and harmless and their sparks are believable.
Make yourself a nice cup of coffee and let them drift you away!
