In this dog eat dog world there are few folks that have ridden the big waves and have managed to keep their feet firmly planted on where they started like Guy Kawasaki. Seems like the further up the corporate ladder you climb the less connected folks are to the real work force or trench warfare. Guy has a way of taking his journey and sharing tools with new young enthusiastic soon to be entrepreneurs. Guy Kawasaki is the Mr. Miyagi of how to think about business. I now use his tools every day.
I read the first version of The Art of the Start and looked forward to version 2.0. I love the enthusiasm with which Guy Kawasaki writes. That carries through into this book. There are important lessons for those looking to make organizations succeed. Most would classify these lessons as common sense, however, that doesn't make them any less valuable. Quite the opposite given Kawasaki's success as a technical evangelist and entrepreneur. The lessons don't just apply to entrepreneurs, as I'm not one, and I found things to take back and work on in my own professional and personal life.
