"Diggers, Dozers and Dumpers" by Ole Konnecke has 2 page spreads devoted to different machines like dump truck or bulldozer. Each spread shoes an animal using that machinery and provides some explanation to what the tool does. Best serving an audience of ages 4-6.

Cute and engaging illustrations. Fun story that both my girls have requested several times, which is really the best measure of a children's book in my opinion

Thank you NatGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Cute book! Was longer than I anticipated for a children’s book, so it took a few reading sessions to finish it with my son. He enjoyed it a lot, although because it was so long, he’d get restless.

This one was jam packed with great information that my son just gobbled up. The illustrations were wonderful and reminded me of Richard Scarry...the illustrations itself was a great rereading activity! This book had the perfect amount of humor and information. A wonderful book to add to your collection! In a world filled with construction books, I really loved this one. Not only did the information get away from the typical trucks you read about; the illustrations and the humor add to the charm.

This book is very informative on different machinery. It Isa bit advanced for my students but I would recommend it to other educators.

This is an adorable book that will appeal to the vehicle obesesed. It is like a NF truck book meets Richard Scarey. Very cute art.

My 5 year old loves construction vehicles so he loved this book. It has a lot of information and even uses some less famous vehicles like dredgers and straddle carriers, which was cool. The illustrations were decent.

Thank you to Ole Könnecke, Gecko Press and NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions here are my own.

This little book is so cool. The illustrations are reminiscent of Richard Scarry, but the text is more fun. There's also a lot of factual text that little people who love vehicles will enjoy.

I will definitely purchase this and any others in the series for my library.

For my Blippi loving 2 year old, this was a hit. Excavators are all the rage and he got to learn about all the other big vehicles other than an excavator through silly but also helpful stories. The story was a little bit difficult with the facts for my 2 yr old but my 5 yr old was enthralled with all the facts about dredgers and tractors etc. Maybe this book will stop the Blippi talk for a bit. 10/10 recommend for any vehicle loving kiddo!

As someone who has read a great deal of construction truck themed books, it's a big deal to say this one passes the test of my construction obsessed 2 year old. I loved the quirky little illustrations and stories paired with real facts about these trucks. I also love that these aren't just the trucks you see mentioned in every other book. There is one mention along the lines of "if you want to learn some curse words, follow this alligator on her bumpy bike ride." I didn't love that part, but the rest is worth recommending the book for.

I want to start by thanking the author and publisher for the opportunity to read an advance release copy of this book. It was not my favorite book. Very choppy.

Diggers, Dozers and Dumpers is a great book for kids who love anything construction.

I love that this book teaches the reader what each of the machines is called and what they do. It also gives other fun facts related to the machines, there is even a pancake recipe. The characters and illustration are adorable and easy to love.

I do think it is a little long and wordy for younger children. I think this book would be great for six to nine year olds!
Thank you NetGalley and Ole Konnecke for this eARC for an honest review.

My son loved this book. He is into everything "digger, dozer and dumper" so this was right up our alley! I loved that not only was their a fun story but it also gave information about each of the vehicles used. The illustration was fun, and we will definitely have this in our rotation throughout the next few weeks and on!

This was a really cute read, and something I think a lot of kids will enjoy! I know my library has a lot of kiddos who love all sorts of construction equipment and will eat up a book like this. And I really appreciated that it was informative, as well as a fun book! I will definitely be adding it to my collection.

So fun! As the parent of a certified Vehicle Child, I have read my fair share of truck books, and this one really stands out. I loved the combination of silly stories/ridiculous applications for each of the vehicles, combined with interesting, completely factual information about what each machine does and a little about how it operates. I also appreciate when a truck book ventures from the standard dump truck/bulldozer/excavator/crane to feature some more unique machines/vehicles, and we get plenty of those here: straddle carriers, dredgers, and tree harvesters are featured side-by-side (along with the more standard work vehicles.)

The illustrations are cartoon-y and fun; the style in which the animals are drawn is reminiscent of Sandra Boynton to me, while the composition of the pages, with many small illustrations and chunks of text propelling the story along, creates a similar feel to Richard Scarry's Busytown. This entry into a highly-populated genre of children's book stands head and shoulders (crane arm-and-personnel basket?) above the rest!

Thank you for the ARC. This book was a little advanced for my little guy but once he gets older, I’m sure he will love to learn all about the 14 types of equipment described in the book. I do wish there were a few more pictures but overall it was an informative story.

This is a super cute children's book that highlights for 14 different pieces of large equipment. The stories are funny but informative. The illustrations are descriptive and go perfectly with the stories. I see lots of little boys really enjoying this book and expanding their vocabularies and imaginations.
