This "political satire" commits one of the worst sins of the genre: It isn't funny. At all.
It also is not well-written; clunky dialogue, poor editing, paper-thin characters, and it's simply boring. To me, it reads as a self-published creative writing assignment BY and FOR teens.
If you're looking for interesting trivia or facts about past US presidents, this book does not offer much beyond what we all learned in elementary school. If you're looking for a great satire about a female president, I recommend "A Woman First: First Woman: A Memoir" by "President Selina Meyer" of "Veep."
I'm not sure where the 5-star reviews are coming from (perhaps friends of the author?), but I do not recommend this book.

Witty and wickedly funny, this book takes on politics and politicians and eviscerates them. There is a new President in the White House. She came to power on promises that sounded good but were doomed to destroy the country. Naive but egotistical, she is way out of her league and when saner, albeit dead, heads try to guide her to a more sensible path, she first does not believe they exist and once she does, she is determined to banish them. But these are past Presidents and First Ladies. She does not want to listen to Adam’s, Jefferson, Madison and the rest. In fact she calls in an FBI ghost hunter.
She is blindsided by her Vice President and is usurped but the Potusgiests will not let him overthrow the legally elected President. Without pointing fingers or naming names, the story reminds us of the high principles that were once at the heart of government. It is a sad testimonial to how far we have fallen. Five purrs and two paws up.
