found this book to be thought-provoking. It’s not the type of book I would normally enjoy. It has a slower pace, but I feel like I was able to reach down and examine myself as the character in this book was examining herself. The child abuse mentioned in this book was hard for me to read, but I do feel like it was necessary and described tactfully. I would recommend this book, especially if the reader is into introspection.
