A little too predictable for me to give more than 3 stars ! Girl from Los Angeles inherits a sugar cane farm in Louisiana! Lots of cultural southern Louisiana references to food, religion, talk, and sugar cane with characters of all sorts to help her. I thought the southern characters were a little too stereotypical but easy story to read.
