This is a beautifully written story that is full of emotion, attraction and love.with a heartwarming message of hope, moving on from the passt and embracig new opportunities. I was hooked from the first page and the captivating, delightful and realistic characters kept me invested. As always, there are romance struggles involved but the happy ending eventually arrives. I enjoyed seeing Ransom and Kelly's relationship grow. Entertaining and well written, this book was a joy to read. I highly recommend any book by Shanna Hatfield!

In the Market for Love is an easy romance read with a cliché cuteness overload!

This story centers around Kelly and Ransom, Kelly works at the local winery, while Ransom is an earlier local football-star turned coach!

If youre into a romance book with few conflicts, this one is for you! Cus even though we get to know of Ransoms troubled past, its easyflowing into the gentleman he is today - and with the relationship between him and Kelly, you get an adorable smalltown-romance perfect for springtime!

Ransom Kressley’s life hasn’t gone as planned, and past mistakes weigh heavily on him. Now determined to change, he finds himself crossing paths with Kelly Truman, his twin brother’s fiancée’s best friend. Kelly has no intention of getting involved with Ransom, but life—and fate—have other plans.

This wholesome, clean romance is a heartfelt journey of redemption, faith, and unexpected love. As Ransom works to become a better man, Kelly learns that sometimes the best plans are the ones we never expected. The first book in the Hearts of the West series, it offers a touching story of love, personal growth, and the power of family and faith.

Having his dream crushed, he has not always been the best person. However, it is impossible not to love a man who is sorrow for his sins now striving to do better. This is his story of doing better. Kelly Truman, best friend to Ransom’s twin brother’s fiancée, is not planning on any kind of involvement with Ransom. In The Market For Love is their story. A marvelous look at life changes as we work toward that goal with help from family, friends and above. The first book in the Hearts of the West Series, it does have tires to previous books by Ms. Hatfield. This story is a perfect example of why I have come to love this author’s books. For a story of complex, but endearing characters in wholesome clean romance stories, you can count on Shanna Hatfield.

I had not read any of the other books in this series so I didn’t have the full back story. I thought the book was enjoyable and easy to read. The relationship between the characters had a nice flow.

3.5 stars.
A sweet wholesome romance featuring a hero consolidating a dramatic change in his life, “In the Market for Love”, by Shanna Hatfield, is about fears, hope and new beginnings.
There’s the old Ransom and the new Ransom: what we know about the former is very negative. The new version is still a work in progress, struggling with his past and transgressions and trying to overcome several issues.
I liked the hero’s humbleness and will to change and the heroines’s candidness and kindness with Ransom shortcomings.
I also liked watching Ransom and Kelly enjoying doing things together with simplicity and authenticity, just for for the sake of it.
Their relationship flows naturally and the attraction is inevitable.
I felt perhaps the conversion from Old Ransom to New Ransom was sometimes too easy.
