I was lucky enough to get an advanced listener copy of Enchantra and O M G!!! If you listened to Phantasma on audiobook you know just how amazing Laura Horowitz is. She is JUST as incredible in Enchantra, and if you haven’t been audiobooking this duology I highly recommend going back and reading them this was. Laura brings Kaylie’s stories to life in such a unique and talented way that always gets me in my feels!
I absolutely adored Phantasma and I’m always nervous for a sequel to come out with a series that I adored the first book in. But Kaylie absolutely slayed and left no crumbs with book 2. It was very true to the world while also bringing us to a new setting. There were too many good parts of the story to list them all, but some of my favorites were the Silver siblings, the banter, the crazy tension between Rowin and Genevieve, and the emotions that it was able to bring out in me.
Also I will ALWAYS be a Blackwell girl, but Rowin was *chefs kiss*

Omg this book was amazing! I loved the first one and was so excited to listen to the second. Genevieve's journey to finding herself was inspiring. I cried so much but was still extremely satisfied with the ending. I need more ASAP!

Like Phantasma, this was a gripping, enchanting book filled with betrayal, enemies and deadly contests. I would like to know where to apply for a Rowin because I think I prefer him to Salem.....
x Deadly Trials
x Marriage of convenience
x Touch her and die
x Forced Prox
x Enemies to Lovers
There were occasional plot holes I would have like developed more, but overall I had a great time both listening and reading this book. The narrator did a wonderful job and when reading the KU version I found the pacing easy to follow and language engaging.

dare I say I enjoyed Enchantra even more than Phantasma? I absolutely loved the story, the fake marriage, the games!! This was so fun. I loved it!

Omg omg omg! What a book. I loved the first book in this series Phantasma. It was the first fantasy book in a while that really had me hooked and book 2 was as good.
The story was fun and deadly from start to finish. Vivi is a strong female character who doesn't need anyone to save her. She doesn't take no for an answer and she believes in herself. I love her strength and confidence.
Kaylie is exceptional at world building. The Silver estate and how it changed for the games was fascinating. Kaylie's description is so vivid I felt like I not only knew the labyrinth in the garden but that I had been there myself.
Rowin and his siblings were a blast. As one of 6 siblings (all brothers) I get the big family dynamics. loved Ellin and Sevin the most. I loved how Ellin and Vivis relationship unfolded. Being the only girl is tough and I really connected with Ellin on that front.
This was everything I want from a gothic fantasy romance book and more!
I switched between the audio and the ebook version of this book and the narration on the audio was fantastic. I found myself listening more and more even though it is slower than I read because I just loved listening to the narration!

💀 paranormal romance
💜 marriage of convenience/fake relationship
💀 set on an enchanted italian estate
💜 shadow mmc x sunshine fmc
💀 forced proximity
💜 deadly game of hide and seek
💀 seven cursed siblings + family secrets
Kaylie Smith has outshined herself with her second release in the Wicked Games series. This take follows Genevieve Grimm who we met in Phantasma and her husband of convenience Rowin Silver. In this sequel we are treated to another dark gothic romntasy and even more twisted games that will have you on the edge of your seat. I really liked the marriage of convenience angle with this and found Rowin to be such a mystery. But as things unfold he isn’t quite the grump he portrays himself to be.
Although the time frame is short, I do love how Genevieve and Rowin developed feelings for one another. The forced proximity worked very well in this. Loved all of the twists and secrets uncovered in this book and Rowins family were so entertaining.
Laura did an amazing job of narrating as always!

Kaylie Smith has done it again—𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔 is a dark, seductive fantasy that blends magic, danger, and undeniable chemistry into a deadly game you won’t want to escape. When Genevieve Grimm accepts an invitation to an Italian palace, she expects luxury and allure—not to be thrust into a cursed competition where the price of losing is eternity in Hell. Her only shot at survival? Forming a reluctant alliance with the infuriating (and gorgeous) Rowin Silver. The tension between Genevieve and Rowin crackles on every page, evolving from verbal sparring to smoldering attraction as they navigate the twisted rules of Enchantra. Smith's gothic world is lush and atmospheric, full of glittering deception, ancient curses, and high-stakes romance. With vivid world-building and sharp dialogue, this enemies-to-lovers fantasy hooked me from the start and left me begging for more.

Huge thanks to Second Sky/Forever and NetGalley for the ARC! Enchantra was one of my most anticipated reads this year, and it did not disappoint. I’ll read anything Kaylie Smith writes—bring on the next one!
If you know me, you know I have zero patience for fake-strong heroines who constantly need rescuing by men or the plot gods. So imagine my joy when Enchantra handed me Genevieve Grimm—our confident, stubborn, curvy, messily delightful main character who doesn’t wait around for anyone to save her (though she might let a shadowy immortal detangle her hair if he offers).
Set on a mysterious Tuscan estate full of secret rooms, hedge mazes, masquerades, and demon-fueled reality TV, Enchantra throws Vivi into a deadly game where her only way out may be a marriage of convenience to Rowin Silver—an Azriel-coded, shadow-wraith immortal with serious “touch her and die” energy. The banter? Immaculate. The vibes? Elite. The animal familiars? Adorable. The drama? Delicious.
Kaylie Smith absolutely nailed the sequel. The worldbuilding continues to be lush and gothic without feeling overwhelming, and the characters—both old and new—shine. The Silver siblings are peak murder-found-family chaos, and I especially enjoyed the dynamic between Ellin and Sevin. I do wish we got more on Barrington Silver and Tessie Grimm, and I’d kill for more exploration of the rift between identical shadow twins, Remi and Rowin.
Compared to Phantasma, this one leaned much more romantic in tone, which I loved. The slow-burn between Vivi and Rowin simmers—secrets are shared, vulnerabilities surface, and when the dam finally breaks? It’s worth the wait. They actually communicate, which is a rare and wonderful thing in fantasy romance.
The ending had my jaw on the floor (hello, twist), and I was absolutely feral over the cameo from Ophelia and Blackwell—crumbs, yes, but I devoured every one.

This was so addicting I could not put it down. Phanstasma was a favorite of mine last year and I kept wondering where book 2 would go and how it could possibly live up to the hype and wow factor of book 1 - well I am here to tell you that it did! Enchantra was so much fun. The Hunt was an interesting premise and I loved the Silver family - they were dysfunctional and outrageous. Genevieve was such a great FMC that was stubborn, confident, had no filter and did whatever she wanted. The romance between Genevieve and Rowin was 😍🌶️ 🥵. I would say my only critique on the book was that I would have liked a bit more of the background on Barrington/Tessie story. For those of you that enjoyed Phantasma you will definitely want to check this one out too!
Note: I did a side-by-side listen to the audio with the physical book. The audio narration was terrific!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for the ARC!

Wow, this was one wild and crazy ride! I really enjoyed listening to this one! It hooked me in from the very beginning and kept me hooked the entire time. I loved Rowin & how he made Genevieve feel seen and special. I couldn’t put this one down!

I absolutely loved the first book and so I was super excited to get chosen for this one. Firstly, the audio is fantastic. Laura is one of my favorites and she just portrays the characters so well.
Second, I love that this is different from Phantasma but set in the same world. Genevieve and Rowan are PERFECTION.

This ids book two of the Wicked Games Series. I went into Enchantra thinking that I was going to be getting another Phantasma; but what I got was something completely different but with some of the same supernatural beings. Enchantra really focuses on Genevieve and the hunt. I love that Salem and Ophelia do make an appearance, but they are not the focus of the story. This gave me Hunger Games vs Hawthorne Series vibes. I really loved the seriousness of each of the games and what was at stake, but I also loved the playfulness of the siblings and the comic relief that you could find amidst the seriousness of the hunt.

I was absolutely entranced by the hunt, the deals, the games picked and the characters in this one. Right from the start I couldn't put this one down and I finished it in a matter of 2 sittings. The pacing was slow in the beginning, where there was some decent world building and character introduction but as the story progressing the pacing got faster and faster. If you are a spice fan; you will enjoy this one because there is plenty of spice!

I love this series. I highly recommend checking this out if you are a romantasy fan but also a horror fan. There is enough blood, guts, thrills and chills to go around in this. I cannot wait to see where Kaylie goes with the third in this series. Be sure to check this out! Huge thank you to NetGalley, Kaylie Smith, Bookouture Audio and Second Sky for the ALC and eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to Second Sky Books and Bookouture Audio for the alc. All opinions are my own.
Easy 5⭐️ book and audiobook.
I loved the narrator, Laura Horowitz. She portrayed the characters so well and I could not put my headphones down. The pacing was perfection and the spice sprinkled throughout. The action scenes were heightened with the narration and I’ll probably listen to the audiobook again.
I love this series and I cannot wait for more!

*Thank you to NetGalley for this audiobook ARC*
This was my most highly anticipated book of 2025 after devouring Phantasma and needing more more more!
Enchantra had me hooked from the first few chapters and the constant flow of adrenaline throughout the book was so satisfying. I had the best time listening to this. Genevieve is a fierce, no holding back FMC and the trope enemies to lovers was written for her. HEAVY on the enemies part! Rowan was delicious. Sultry with his words and immediately protective of Genevieve. The hunt that is Enchantra was so beautifully crafted, it kept me on my toes the whole time. Every game was more intense than the last one and equally addicting. I loved the siblings interactions with each other. Seven and Grave are my favorite side characters. I have found my favorite series to date. The audiobook was phenomenal. The writing, the storyline, all the different characters. I can't express enough how good this book was.

Enchantra is an equally amazing sequel to Phantasma. I loved every single moment of it!
We get the same gothic, eerie and magical vibes which are found in the mansion Enchantra and with the same occult presence I loved in Phantasma! There are demons, wraiths, phantoms, familiars... the paranormal world really expanded in this book. The world really sucks you in and immerses you making you feel like you're in a fairytale turned wrong.
As for the romance...ummm Rowan and Genevieve literally have my whole heart. Literally all of my favorite tropes were in this book!
- Hate to love
- Forced proximity
- Marriage of convenience
- Deadly trials
This all lead to such a sizzling relationship full of heat and tension and a lot of amazing spice.
The ending was so sweet as well and I found that it wrapped up really well. I'm so excited for book 3!
As I audiobooked this I also have to say that the narrator did an amazing job! She is so expressive with her voice and really captures all the emotions really well. She has become one of my favorite narrators to date.

Enchatra was such a fun and enchanting read. It followed the story of Genevieve after the events of Phantasma. I wasn’t sure how the story would continue, but we still see the same broody/dark MMCs and deadly games in Enchantra.
I really enjoyed the dynamics of the Silver family and how they are completely twisted and borderline psychotic but also supportive of each other. The ending is fantastic with a HEA but also a cliffhanger leading to book 3!

The audiobook was FANTASTIC. I loved it so much. This book was so great. It really drew me in and so happy. Genevieve’s story was phenomenally done.

I love an interlinked series & I just knew I'd love this book. Genevieve was one of those characters I just wanted more from in Phantasma & now in her story she delivered.
Laura Horowitz narration was excellent as always & she just brings something extra to these books.
No nonsense FMC, dark & secretive MMC, marriage of convenience, sibling banter, games & trials. This book has so much going for it. A fab listen.

Phantasma was one of my top reads and top recs last year and I was so loud about my obsession with Genevieve! So it’s no surprise that 𝘌𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢 was one of my most anticipated reads of this year.
Now picture my reaction when I received both an ALC for the audiobook AND an ARC of 𝘌𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢. Screaming, crying, throwing up levels of excitement.

⊹⊹𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘮…duh! I am ride or die for her. Her attitude, that sharp tongue, the energy?? She is me and I am her!
⊹⊹𝘙𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯 + 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦: the banter? the tension? the slow-burn romance? I was feral! Their chemistry was explosive in the best way.
⊹⊹𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬, gothic, atmospheric vibe? Absolute perfection.
⊹⊹𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴 were hitting: deadly tournament, marriage of convenience, and enemies-to-lovers…all done so well.
⊹⊹𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 and the pacing? This plot gripped me from page one and refused to let go.
And we can’t forget about Laura Horowitz. She bodied the narration. Her take on Genevieve? *chef’s kiss* She brought every character to life with so much personality and nuance. I binged the audiobook in a single day because I physically couldn’t stop listening.
Thank you Forever, Second Sky, Bookouture, and NetGalley for the gifted audiobook and physical copy.

Enchantra was such a fun and addictive listen! I really enjoyed the gothic fantasy vibes, the fast pace, and the chemistry between Genevieve and Rowin. Laura Horowitz did an amazing job narrating—she brought every character to life and kept me totally hooked. The banter between the main characters had me smiling constantly, and the spicy scenes were definitely a highlight. I loved Genevieve as a main character—she was relatable, strong, and not your typical fantasy heroine. Rowin was your classic broody, morally gray love interest, and yes, he was hot. The whole fake dating/forced proximity situation was done so well, and the world of Enchantra with its deadly games and curses kept things tense and exciting. While I liked Phantasma, I think this one had stronger character dynamics. The atmosphere wasn’t quite as rich, but the story made up for it. This was a great audiobook experience, and I’m already excited for book three!
Very grateful to @bookoture for my alc , opinions are my own
