The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord

Emery Lord writes some of the best realistic YA fiction there is. I adored Open Road Summer, and The Start of Me and You was just as good for me. I loved the friendship between the four girlfriends in this story. I wish I had had a group of friends like this when I was in high school. I could just feel the love and loyalty they had for each other. I loved the Quiz Bowl, and these sweet characters nerding out over books and other things. I love reading books with nerdy characters. The romance is so swoony. Highly recommended!
