Letters to the Lost is a somewhat flawed debut nonetheless, I was instantly sucked in and in the end, was quite bowled over.
The ending left me both choked up and melancholy. The characters stayed with me long after I finished.

I read this over a longer period of time, but was glad to stretch it out. After a certain turn of events with one of the timelines portrayed in the novel, I thought surely I would be mad at whatever happened in the rest of the book, but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought. I was pleasantly surprised at how things concluded, though there were moments of tears.

This is a lovely tale full of hope, heartbreak and redemption. You will not want to put this down as you sink into the stories and love letters that pull you into another world. You will absolutely fall as quickly as Jess into the story of Stella and Dans love!
