This is a beautiful book that explains in detail with accompanying images, how to woodwork exquisite and functional boxes of all sizes and designs. Author Albert Kleine leaves nothing to question concerning the correct tools and materials to use as well as the steps to complete each project. My favorite is the Miniature Dovetailed Chest. A most beautiful design. At the end of the book, he presents pictures of other woodworking projects to consider, Mr. Kleine is a master craftsman.
A very enjoyable project book for your imagination and your bookshelf (that perhaps you can build yourself?).

The Complete Starter Guide to Making Wooden Boxes was an interesting read. I just started to get into wood working and was having trouble learning some of the basic techniques. This book provides all of the necessary information on how to begin working with wood including tools and supplies as well as techniques. The second half of the book is filled with all types of projects for making different types of wooden boxes. There were so many great projects and all of the projects include a material and tool list and also written directions and photos for every step. As a visual learner, I loved the number of photos in this book. The visual aid helped me understand each instruction better than if I just had written instructions. I think this is a great book for any wood hobbyist and would also make a great gift. I would recommend this book.
